We are working on releasing apps for both iOS and Android to be released in the next couple months. Outlook integration is further off: https://support.protonmail.ch/knowledge-base/third-party-email-client-integration-outlook-thunderbird-apple-mail-ect/.

This is similiar request that I already made at:
https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/7214966-chrome-firefox-add-on
The point should be to focus on the fact that users emails would remain secured even after Protonmail servers compromise.

I agree with all the comments here, if an email client is going to take longer, build in a push notifications, that can send notifications to my other email addresses so that I know to check in. Until Proton-mail becomes more widely used, and I have other contacts who have been accepted, I don't receive enough emails to check often enough. I often forget I even have this email account.

While a mobile app would be great in the meantime i'd be happy with a mobile app that just sent push alerts to let me know to log in and check my inbox ...

They're already working on a smartphone app. MS Outlook is not possible until they implement something like a ProtonMail Client: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/7393477-protonmail-client

I know there has been many requests but and in general I am happy in favour of security over easy of use but... I see tutanota/keemail and lavaboom plus a whole load of other e-2-e encryption services gaining more traction due to the fact they are/will deliver on this fast. I like Protonmail and want all my friends to use it too!
