Im not a protonmail user but I am a Ubuntu Touch user and I'm sick of using Google and Microsoft services for my email. Having a native email client for my phone would be really nice.

This would be a great addition to the ecosphere. As a proton user myself, i'd like to cast my vote here as well. If it would be possible for a official, native app?

Ubuntu Touch by UBPorts has been my daily driver for more than 4 years already and it keeps getting better and better. I also have been using ProtonMail for almost 3 years already and since It's my main email provider I would love to see a native app for Ubuntu Touch, I am sure a lot of people are wishing the same and also It will speak great from the ProtonMail team. The UBPorts foundation will be more than happy to make this happen as well.

Although the initiative is somewhat old, I subscribe to it as a user of ProtonMail, ProtonVPN and future user of UBTouch.

I believe that a Protonmail app on Ut ensures user privacy and takes advantage of all current and future email features.

I think Protonmail developing an UT native app will show that they are fully and truly “privacy oriented”...

I use both Ubuntu Touch and Protonmail and think a native Ubuntu Touch app would be a great benefit for both parties. From what I have seen there a lot of Protonmail users in the UBports Community.

This would be a great idea, I have just installed uTouch on my old phone to test this alternative OS but wouldn't be able to transfer fully without an official ProtonMail app

Provide a User interface application for Linux OS

Unofficial versions currently require sign on each time to check email in smartphone. Too tedious for frequent use.

Since You have the same focus to protect privacy and bring internet safety back to the users it would be very nice to see your support for Ubuntu Touch community driven Linux based OS. And more when new open-hardware by pine64, the pinephone, is coming. Many thx for taking this dream in your consideration. BR. MK

I dislike the way the other suggestion was laid out so here's a new one.
I would love to see a native ProtonMail app for Ubuntu Touch. The idea given in the other suggestion isn't enough as Libertine (the method to install desktop Debian apps) is broken on some devices. We need a native ProtonMail app for UBports' Ubuntu Touch 16.04. 15.04 is going to be deprecated soon.
Here is the other suggestion for an Ubuntu Touch app:
