Store fiat currencies
Proton Wallet should support storing fiat currency such as GBP, EUR and USD.
Of course these currencies could not be stored in the same way as crypto, but it would be amazing to be able to store them with Proton.
Having the ability to create and use virtual cards from Proton would go very well with this.

Absolutely. This is what we could use. A real digital wallet with true security and privacy. Apple Pay and Google Pay? PayPal? All of them are likely using our spending data somehow. Proton could be the solution.

Honestly yes. the only reason I do not actively use wallet is because if I want to do literally anything transaction wise with crypto, I HAVE to report it to the IRS, as the government treats crypto like a stock, not currency. so if I want to buy a cup of coffee with bitcoin, i have to log all that **** and report it. not worth the hassle. I would love virtual cards like MySudo or even a competitor to applepay though

Proton would then be a REAL digital wallet. Include other crypto & stable coins

Though it has its own unique parts, this suggestion heavily relates to https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/960668-proton-wallet/suggestions/46927570-proton-pay-credit-debit-card-alias

For Proton Wallet to truly be useful for me, I need to hold assets that are not volatile. I don't like to sit on Bitcoin and I don't transact with it often enough where I want to hold my Bitcoin for very long. But I like to have some of my own assets available in crypto, and my challenge with other exchanges is that it can take several days for me to purchase Bitcoin and then liquidate it (i.e. bank transfers take time to clear).
A stablecoin option could solve this. For example, I would hold a greater balance in USDC that I keep on reserve, and when I need to transact in Bitcoin, I could convert, transact, and empty out my balance.
Until Proton Wallet supports some option that is not volatile and is pegged to a more stable asset, digital or fiat, Proton Wallet misses the mark for me.

+1, adding Ethereum support would basically cover that with stablecoins https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/960668-proton-wallet/suggestions/48698300-support-ethereum-and-ethereum-based-coins

Proton Wallet is a good thing, but limited to Bitcoin.
It would be great to manage "normal" currency and different account. To manage itl and pay on internet like PayPal, and pay with phone like Google Pay

I feel like supporting fiat would open up a regulatory nightmare that would be a privacy risk.
