Additional security with a PIN or password in Windows, such as Proton Pass
I often have ProtonMail and ProtonCalendar open in Windows, but I don't want anyone around me (children, colleagues) to have unrestricted access to my finances.
Similar to how additional security works in ProtonPass, where you enter a PIN or password.
Additional protection works for ProtonWallet on mobile phone by locking it with biometrics.

Exactly! Why there is no password? You don't want anyone to have access to you wallet and you don't want to lock PC. OPSEC is something you can fail, but PIN is good protection if you forgot to lock the computer. This feature is definetly critical, how that noone other sees it? Not in Windows, the Proton wallet in web browser should be protected same way as on mobile.
