Better Linux integration and support
The app really needs better integration and support on different flavors of Linux. Now, since WireGuard is part of the kernel, it can be heavily utilized.

But i totally agree, also fedora/cinnamon -> a real pain to work with Proton VPN here.
Would've already gone Proton Unlimited if it weren't for missing support here... -

I'd like to add that I would love to see the dependency on NetworkManager be removed. I haven't used NetworkManager in a long time, preferring systemd-networkd and systemd-resolved. Because of the dependency on NetworkManager, I can't use existing proton applications and my only option is to use wireguard.

yes,agree. especially on those linux distros, which are not ubuntu-based. anywhere, where mcrsft enters becomes vulnerable and messy, chaotic.
