in calendar option for 24:00 hour notation Standard ISO 8601
In Calendar is only a PM /AM time notation now. I prefer the 24 hours notation (International Standard ISO 8601 )

"Search" option in Proton Calendar
There should be definitely, and fast, a "search" option in Proton Calendar.
One has to be able to find a word, a name, an address etc, instead of going back searching day-by-day this item.468 votes -
Mobile Widget for calender
It'd be super useful if there was a mobile widget for the ProtonCalendar app so I can see my calendar from my home screen

Sync with other calendars (Office365, Google)
I use Protonmail for my private calendar, but Outlook/Google for work. I would like to have Proton Calendar integrated in e.d. the Android native app so I have all my calendars in one.

Improved Detail in Email Notification
Please add the actual name of the event and its details to the email notification.
I was excited to have the email notification option added, which was the last thing keeping me from switching completely from Google. However, the email notifications themselves are disappointing, as they don't even say what the event is, so I have to open my calendar separately to see. I keep the notifications in my email as a reminder and delete them when I'm done, and I need to know what the actual reminder is for without having to open the calendar.

ProtonCalendar App for iOS and Android
I request a ProtonCalendar App for easy use on iPhone's and Android. Proton has already made MAIL and VPN apps successfully, so the Calendar app would be a great feature I would use multiple times everyday.

Remember my notification choices
Most often I would like to be notified 2 hours before and 10 minutes before. At the moment I have to delete the "15 minutes before", then enter "10 minutes before" then enter "2 hours before", then delete "notify by email 15 minutes before". And I have to do it EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Wouldn't it be nice if just the latest choice was left there by default?
Meaning if a created event with "10 minutes before" and "2 hours before", the next even I create has these already pre-populated?
Of course, there could be a separate menu item that turns…

Birthdays automatically transfer from Contacts to Calendar
Proton Contacts allows users to record the birthday for each contact. It would be great if these birthdays could automatically appear in Proton Calendar.

Event name in the email subject / title
I suggest using the event names as notification emails title, for instance:
- "Event: Picnic in the park".
- "Reminder: Picnic in the park".
And maybe with appended time information, for instance:
- "Event: Picnic in the park (in 1h 20m)".
- "Reminder: Picnic in the park (in 1h)".
- "Reminder: Picnic in the park, at 11:30 (GMT+2) on Thursday, April 7"
Currently, the title force users to open each email individually until they find the event they are looking for to read the event details for insance. This is how current email titles look like:
"Reminder: event starting at 11:30 (GMT+2) on Thursday, April…

Sharing a calendar
Hello,
I would have 3 proposals related to the sharing of the agenda:
- Allow to share one of my calendars with another ProtonMail user present in my contacts.
- Allow to invite another ProtonMail user present in my contacts to participate to an event.
- Allow a specific ProtonMail user in my contacts to edit one of my calendars. This is very useful for example when your spouse is not available to know if she will be available at a specific date and to define a date with someone while inviting her to this event.

Decrease sync delay
The sync of changes has a huge delay. Shared calendar can take hours, sync in mobile app can take minutes. This should be both near real time.

Ability to use different colors for events in the Calendar.
Apologies if this is already a feature and I couldn't figure it out...
It would be nice to assign calendar events different colors to quickly identify different types of appointments.
Thanks and appreciate all of the great work!!!

Agenda list view as in Google Calendar
The web calendar has a "Day", "Week" and "Month" view selection. I suggest adding an "Agenda" view as in Google Calendar. This simply is a list view of coming events.
Why? To present a more compact view of future events.

Calendar events from within ProtonMail
You should be able to click something inside of ProtonMail that quickly adds a calendar event. The event should be able to have the email within it ie. the format of the email, hyperlinks still functioning etc

Use calendar offline
I don't really mind whether its a bridge to an existing app - Apple Mail, Lightning - or adedicated proton app but I need a calendar that I can use (rather than just view) offline. That means adding and editing events. This seems to me a pretty basic function, without it Proton Calendar is not much use to me. I am offline a lot of the time.

Duplicate an existing event
Would be nice to have an option to duplicate an existing event with small changes.
Use case: irregularly recurring events that need to be scheduled one at a time(e.g. barber, massage, dentist visits)83 votes -

Tasks as in Google Calendar
In Google Calendar (app and web), you press the "plus" sign to make a new calendar event. Then you choose between new Activity, Reminder or Task.
A Task presents a notification upon the chosen time, and you mark it as "Done" to archive it. An active task is shown as an event in the calendar, and appears greyed out after marked as done.
My suggestion is to carbon copy this feature into the Proton Calendar.

Calendar widget for Android phone.
As an Android phone user, it would be great if we can have calendar widget which can be directly accessed without opening the app.
