  1. Proton To-Do/Task List

I would love to have a Proton "to-do" or "task" App.

I don't know if this can be integrated with Calendar or needs to be stand-alone... But the current "to do" or "task" apps all feed my information to their systems and the cloud so they can read my daily tasks, project plans, and schedule. For me, this needs more privacy than calendar events.

Would also love the feature that tasks can be pulled into my calendar and/or my calendar can feed my tasks for the day. Make it really easy to set up the day/week /month.

  2. Proton Drive Desktop

I would like to have Proton Drive for Desktop, similarly like it is done for OneDrive or Google Drive. Basically, an integration with File Explorer which then synchs with Proton Drive. Much easier to manage my files that way and access them.

  3. Proton Full Wallet

There is lots of posts on here about a Proton Wallet for Crypto and Web3. But I haven't seen anything for a standard replacement to GooglePay or ApplePay. While I wouldn't mind a Web3 wallet. I would very much enjoy, and use routinely a wallet for standard methods of payment... 'Standard' being until the rest of the world catches up to Web3.

To elaborate, a wallet that can link PayPal, credit cards (then create virtual card numbers so that the real card number is not actually exposed). It would be a cool bonus to see and manage recurring payments and…

  4. Google Docs Alternative

Now that we have a Drive and Calendar alternative, it would be appreciated to have a Proton alternative to Google Docs that allows for the security the company provides. It doesn't have to be as good or have the exact same features, but having a reasonably comparable version would be great for further removing myself and related material from Google services, while maintaining the ability to edit and create from my phone and store on my Proton Drive. Having a similar sharing ability with public links would also be preferred, but understandable if it couldn't be included in an initial…

  5. Proton Web Browser and Search Engine

Instead of using Google Chrome, Edge, or Opera. If you create your own web browser and Search Engine it would lead to better privacy and ease of mind for those against Big Corporations

  6. Do not use google at all!

ProtonMail service is positioned as private and anonymous. But when you click on the contact button, it offers to import from Google evil corporation (screenshots: https://shorturl.at/loLNV https://shorturl.at/oxGO9) This action compromises the IP address of the evil corporation. Kindly remove this button from such a visible place or mark it with a sign warning of possible compromise of IP and other data. Also, I believe that any service that cares in any way about user privacy should sever all ties with evil corporation Google. This is not a good move by a company that values privacy and anonymity. Google is…

  8. Family Plan

Please establish a Family Plan for accounts and pricing: one price, with separate accounts for each family member and the ability to have a shared family calendar -- and maybe even shared Proton drive space. Having separate unlimited accounts for both parents and all children is not a good deal for families. I'm pretty sure this would be hugely popular, greatly appreciated, and you'd probably be surprised by how fast it increases the growth of Proton.

  9. Credit card information in Proton Pass

I've just started using Proton Pass. It's a great addition to the Proton family of products. However it doesn't seem to enable the storage of credit card info and the automatic filling out of payment forms, as do other managers like 1Pass or LastPassword. Is that a feature that will be added in the near future? Otherwise, I can't see myself switching from 1Pass to Proton Pass. Thx!

A service where you can add your card info and pay with an "alias" card, like "privacy.com". Available for more than just the US

  11. Password manager

Hello! A good idea to be implemented could be a password manager/generator. There are some of them in the market but as user of Proton I would feel safer with my passwords in your servers instead of Google or another apps of unknown service providers. Thanks!

  12. Create an official F-droid Repository for all Proton apps

    Hello,

It would be nice to have an official F-droid repo for all protonapps.

This way all apps would easily stay up-to-date without using the google playstore (or the aurore store)

    Thanx for considering!

  13. ProtonPhone

How about a new product, ProtonPhone, providing secure, anonymous voice phone and SMS?

My impression is that phones are the biggest security hole in the communication ecosystem. It would be great to plug it.

By the way, I just jumped over here from my ProtonMail account and now I'm invited to log in with Facebook or Google?!?! I'm shocked. Is Proton now a shill for Facebook and Google?

  14. Proton Family pricing options

I'm happy to see the newly released Proton Family plan! I've been waiting around for something like this for a while. However, I don't really need to support 6 users in my small family. Can we instead get pricing per member? The current pricing is about 3.33 USD per member per month, at 19.99 USD per month if you get the 2 year plan. How about flexible pricing: 2 members = 4.99 USD each, 3 members = 4.49 USD each, 4 members = 3.99 USD each, 5 members = 3.49 USD each, 6 members 3.33 USD each.

  16. Stop with politics

I just read your newsletter. I don't care what Proton thinks of Ukraine or Covid or any other issue going on in the planet. I want an email service. That is all. Don't give money to any causes, use it to improve your services. Keep your opinions out of it. Leave giving to causes to your individual employees or owners. I am seriously considering leaving your service if you don't stop this virtue signaling madness.

  17. Self-Destruct Action on Filters

Flag incoming messages to self-destruct with a Filter.

I get a lot of transient notification emails (pickup order is ready, package shipped, etc) that I don't need to keep around forever. I currently go through every so often and clean these out, but it takes time and is kind of a pain.

Adding an action to Filters to set the self-destruct behavior would let me flag senders/subjects and automatically set those to expire after a period of time.

  18. Make it so you can delete additional Proton addresses

I was trying to add an address with a custom domain but accidentally used proton.me instead of my domain name. I cannot remove the address I accidentally added, and it counts towards my limit of 10 addresses. Not cool, Proton.

Please add support for materialized/themed icons also known as adaptive icons so the proton apps blend in well in Android 13. Proton is one of the few companies that do not have this yet.

  20. ProtonChat: buy threema

    • name could be ProtonChat or Threema by Proton or ProtonThreema
    • 0 trust 0 logs forward-only 1 on 1 and little groups messenger is very light on servers
    • it would give threema what’s more needed for chats: a userbase
    • it would easily surpass signals because: Swiss based, no number required, on proprietary servers instead of AWS
    • it would give you much more privacy credit because we all know mail is bad for metadata and not even a judge can ask you to track people on a signal like system
    • it’s the solution needed for doctors, lawyers and all the pro that…
