Hide the unread count for spam
Currently, the Spam category shows a count of unread emails. This is kind of attention-grabbing when scanning the sidebar for what I should be paying attention to, so it would be nice to either not show it at all, or have an option not to show it.
The same goes for Trash emails, these things should be more “out of the way”.
This is especially annoying in the mobile app, because there is no way to hide the archive/spam/trash/all-mails like there is on web.
There are several requests and/or hacks for this on Reddit:

Transparency Through mepco bill
Transparency in digital services is essential for building long-term user trust. When platforms empower users with tools that allow independent verification, confidence in the service increases naturally. Proton already leads by example with its privacy-first approach and open communication, but this philosophy is valuable across all online services. For instance, allowing users to quickly verify essential information, such as checking mepco bill through https://mepcobillchk.pk/ a public online tool, demonstrates how clarity and accessibility reduce confusion and reliance on third parties. Continuing to focus on transparent, user-verifiable systems will further strengthen trust and long-term loyalty.

Transparency in Digital Services Builds Long-Term User Trust
ProtonMail has earned user trust by putting privacy and transparency first, and this approach could be extended even further through clearer explanations of how internal metrics and limits are calculated. When users manage subscriptions, storage usage, or plan upgrades, simple and transparent breakdowns help them make informed decisions without relying on guesswork.
Across the web, users are increasingly familiar with tools that clearly show how numbers are derived, similar to how platforms offering <a href="https://calcolostipendioneto.it/">simulazione busta paga mensile</a> explain structured calculations step by step. Applying the same clarity to ProtonMail’s account-related data would reinforce confidence while fully respecting privacy-first design…

Filter or sort Proton Pass items by urgency of attention needed
Proton Pass items can be sorted chronologically or alphabetically. But what I would like to do is sort them by how urgently I need to address issues. After an import from another password manager it would be great to be able to work down the list from compromised, vulnerable, weak. Or just be able to select all items that need attention.

How FSM Streamlines Scheduling, Dispatching, and Workforce Management
Managing a business that requires organized operations can be quite challenging. There are tasks to complete, appointments to follow up on, and resources to allocate effectively. This can be quite difficult without the proper tools to ensure that time is not wasted, priorities are not mixed up, and customers are not irritated. This is where the Field Service Management software changes everything.

Proton Sandboxie
You could run apps inside of a sandbox. Proton's zero knowledge architecture would mean that non of the info inside could be read by proton or anyone.

Archive button will show the next email message after use
Right now, when I click on the Archive button, the email message archives and then the preview window shows nothing. It would be more efficient if the next email message would show instead so I don't have to click on the next message each time.

Sheets: Text Rotation
A simple suggestion to add text rotation as one of the text formatting options in sheets. If you're like me, who uses lots of vertical labels, not having them anymore is more frustrating than I thought it would be!

Include Standard Notes with Proton Subscription
Since Standard Notes (SN) is part of Proton, it should really be included in subscriptions, at least the unlimited plan. (For an "unlimited" subscription, there seems to be a growing list of limitations; first it didn't include SN, now it also doesn't include Lumo AI.) In Standard Notes' 2025 update (https://standardnotes.com/blog/2025-update), they said:
What has changed since we joined Proton is our capacity. Being part of the Proton family means we can draw on the resources of a larger organization...
Why is Proton spending money and/or time improving another service that doesn't benefit its own users? It's strange…

New product idea: "Proton Mind"
Most of us probably agree that we spend too much time on our devices. This is evident both internally, in how we feel after scrolling social media for hours, and externally, i.e. in statistics on mental health and the political fragmentation we see today.
There are many apps that claim to help with this, and they can certainly be useful. Some offer scheduled usage times or scheduled greyscale mode, others provide a few seconds of "wait time" before entering a specific app, and others consist of a "minimalist launcher" designed to make the phone feel less addictive. Much of this…

Proton Docs - Allow page style formatting ON/OFF
It is great to have free formatting for note taking, but for document collaboration in the context of a company or even just because some documents have to be printed, it would be crucial to enable ON/OFF page formatting and navigation in Proton Docs. Provide few popular option for page size format (A4, A3, and US equivalent e.g. Letter, etc.) and allow for Portrait or Landscape display.
Future features this could later enable (not the object of this request):
* Page numbering.
* Header/Footer for official company document templates.
* Enabling a PPT/Slide style formatting in Proton Docs if A3…1 vote -
Access to Proton Bridge cache offline ? (with full-text caching)
Could it be possible to make Proton Bridge cache accessible offline ?
The idea behind it is to be able to have a full cache of all mails text contents (or at least for the last x months).
It would be helpful as the current alternative is to do that client-side which will store it usually unencrypted (if i'm not mistaken) whereas Proton Bridge cache is still encrypted.
The use-case would be to ensure an always up to date, always encrypted, local "backup access" to the mail box content.
... but i probably ignore some security protocol constrains :)1 vote -
Add "invite others to Proton" to the dashboard or menu
Under the user profile is 'help and feedback' but why not offer a hotlink for "send invitation for Proton service" to friends and colleagues. Of course, I will copy/paste the homepage and email to my Japanese colleagues, but having the "invite now" button might be attractive to the Proton users who want to invite others to join. For your consideration.

Proton QR Code Generator
I have been researching QR code generators. What I have been looking for is a bit "anti Proton philosophy", but this is exactly why this might be an idea for you.
It would be nice to have a QR code generator service that allows for some simple analytics which do NOT break privacy (if that's even possible). Of course, it must be based on a zero knowledge structure so that even Proton can't access the data.
In short: It would be cool to have analytics without sacrificing privacy (again, if technically possible).Maybe Proton can pull this off with all…

Proton Coding
Hello Proton, thank you very much and great respect, for all the masterpieces you create. I would very much like to have an alternative to Github at Proton where you can work cleanly, safely and privately. That would bring an absolute well-being for us IT workers. I had published a survey at the beginning of 2025 who agreed, and 922 out of 1000 real IT workers would find that absolutely great. So over 92% of IT workers would find it commendable to have a "Proton Coding" product available. Best Regards:)
