New Product: Proton Translate
Online and in-person translation is an intimate and private affair, which shouldn't be collected by large companies such as Google and Microsoft, which are the leading translation services. Proton should offer a private alternative that enables users to translate phrases, words, and their screen so they can best communicate, breaking down language barriers in a safe and secure setting. Additional features would include conversation mode and starring favorite words/phrases. Making a better internet starts with ensuring we can fully understand each other, no matter the language.

Scam Call Protection Integrated into Proton VPN
With ProtonVPN's stated mission of protecting individuals' digital lives, a natural progression for Proton and its VPN is to include scam calling screening and protection into the digital tools that Proton provides currently. This would be best integrated into the VPN app, where it would be most effective in monitoring calls and providing forewarning and steps for potential scams. This type of feature is provided with NordVPN service, which is another powerful VPN tool with decent security measures, which makes me believe that Proton would be able to improve on this service with ProtonVPN, enhancing our digital security even further.

Freeform + Standard Notes = Proton Notes
Proton acquired Standard Notes but has yet to integrate it into Proton's Office Suite both technically and subscription-wise. Also, Apple released the Freeform app a few years ago which is honestly the best hand-writing program ever released on a tablet.
If Proton is planning on upgrading and integrating Standard Notes into the Proton Drive suite, it should also include a handwriting feature similar to Apple's Freeform so people can handwrite their notes or draw on their tablets (within an encrypted space of course).
Also include a dark mode because Freeform doesn't have this yet and the bright light of the…

Newsletters Disable Option
Please allow subscribers to disable Proton's annoying "Newletters" function. There is no reason for Proton to categorize emails in this manner unless you guys are keeping track of the types of emails people get and selling that info to marketers. It's invasive and akin to snooping on your part. If I needed an annoying "email categorizing" function, I would use gmail.

What is a CRM Ticketing System?
A CRM ticketing system is a tool that helps businesses manage customer issues in an organized way. Whenever a customer reaches out with a problem or question, the system creates a ticket. Each ticket tracks the full journey of the issue from start to finish.

A video hosting platform
YouTube started getting accused of using AI and getting large creators banned. Proton already has a userbase and this is a great opportunity to make one.

Suggestion for a new browser!
Hello to the entire Proton team. My suggestion for the Proton ecosystem is to create a browser entirely focused on privacy, security, and lightness. The goal is to build a browser that outperforms competitors like Brave and Via Browser, combining the best of both: robust privacy/security and a lightweight, fluid experience with advanced ad-blocking. I strongly believe this would attract a large audience, as people seek the practicality and security that are already associated with your brand.

Better onboarding documentation
Two bits of information would have helped me as I onboarded to the Proton ecosystem if they were placed front and center:
Make it obvious that there's a limit to the number of times you can delete an email. As I set up a strategy for myself, I created a number of emails that I then wanted to rename, and hit the limit of deletions. This could be as simple as showing a generic message every time a user tries to delete an email that says "Are you sure you want to delete this email? You are only allowed to…

Identity/Adresse Book Wallet for online shopping and more
Dear Proton Team,
The massive usage of online shopping causes big issues : we all rely on these platforms to secure personal information, and avoid having them available on dark web (or directly sold to date brokers)
As we can hope (or pray) that's the case for Payment info, we all know that "less valuable" info like mobile phone or postal address are not so protected.
And each day i read in the news about a new site leaked by some hacker group (especially here, in France)So my idea is : instead of filling mobile and postal adresse on…

Proton Web
Modern browsers share a major flaw: there’s no way to configure them to automatically reject non‑essential cookies or companies that claim “legitimate interests.” It’s a real pain on the internet to have to click away hundreds of cookie notices. Build a browser that lets you pre‑set a blanket refusal of cookies. If a single, essential website stops working, you can add an exception for that site.
While you’re at it, bundle in a custom search engine—or perhaps DuckDuckGo—and integrate VPN, Pass, Onion routing, Lumo, bookmarks, and so on. That would just be fantastic!1 vote -

Hi Proton Team,
I currently use Firefox, but I feel a browser powered by Lumo could take the browsing experience to a whole new level. Especially now, with the emergence of new AI-powered browsers, I think Proton should consider entering that space. This could be a privacy-first alternative to browsers like ChatGPT Atlas, and Dia.
Along with a Proton Browser, a Lumo-powered search engine could change the game. Both these spaces could be revolutionised by Proton's safe, intuitive and aesthetic UI.
The browser could have new tools like Proton bookmarks and already existing tools like Proton VPN and Proton Pass…1 vote -
