Proton drive Linux support
Proton has a mail app for Linux, we really need Linux support for Proton Drive. MicroSlop is rapidly forcing online data access, account registration and AI. We need a way to protect our systems and data. So why not add support for Ubuntu (Mint, etc.) now for Proton Drive? Time is of the essence. I testing software now to prepare for the move from Win 11 to Linux, I hope that when I am ready to move, Proton is in the mix. I will be researching alternatives to Proton Drive.

Please consider hosting a separate caldav and webdav service.
I know, I know, you don't support that. But PLEASE consider supporting it at least partially. I want Proton to be my one stop shop for security and identity.
Consider this. In order to be able to move to a privacy oriented Android release, I have to manually install APKs, switch to another authenticator because Proton Authenticator is not available as trusted build, and I have to pay for another service to store my contacts. (Also see my post on Obtanium)
The message is: as a non big tech customer I cannot really use Proton in a safe and integrated…

Consider using Obtanium to support GrapheneOS and other Android derivatives
Consider using Obtanium to support GrapheneOS and other Android derivatives for the distribution of Android Apps.
I am a privacy focused Proton customer and I have recently switched to GrapheneOS. Obtanium is a small Android App that helps to track app updates across the web; ao. directly from Github. Please consider a rebranded Proton version of Obtanium, or some other affiliation. The payoff is twofold:
- As a Proton user I can install Android apps directly and track updates. Both good things.
- Affiliation would mean that a non Google Playstore gets some security backing. This would be great to…1 vote -
I switched to Proton because I hate AI and it seems more reliable than gmail.
So please get rid of your chatbot. Nobody needs that. If your selling point is meant to be privacy and no chatbots, stick to that please and have some principles

docs
Adding headers, footers, and (editable) pagination would be appreciated by those who edit course materials, along with more font options, even if they have to be uploaded to your platforms.
And if this type of feature is complicated to implement online due to hosting providers, why not also create a Proton Docs desktop app?
Sincerely,

Label selection pop-up in PM app should be sorted
Label order displayed in pop-up when tagging an open mail with a label should be exactly the same as in 'Settings for folders and labels', otherwise you have to read thru many many labels to find the wanted label to tag a mail.
Consequence: If you sort (alphabetically) labels in Settings, labels in pop-up should appear sorted as well.1 vote -

Proton Sheet - Currency EURO
Problem:
Currently, user can ony easily set cell to "currency" by clicking on the dollar sign. Which sets currency = $.
If user is european, he can't easily set currency = €
Instead, user needs to click on Format>Number>More Currencies>€ ; which is cumbersome.Request :
As a user, I want to be able to easily set the format of cells to currency = $ OR € without having to click several times in the toolbars menu, in order for my customer experience to be more fluid and efficient

Proton Sheet - Automatic Average/Count/Sum
Proton sheet lacks an ease-of-life feature that Excel has.
Excel calculates and displays AVERAGE/COUNT/SUM, at the bottom right of the program, when you select multiple cells containing numbers.
This helps tremendously as the user doesn't have to type the formulas to get them, it is instantaneous.
Hence, following user story :
As a proton sheet user, I want AVERAGE/COUNT/SUM to be automatically calculated and displayed when I select cells containing numbers, in order not to have to set these formulas myself. Thanks !

Change "All Settings" to "All Settings / Dashboard"
Many directions say to "got to the Dashboard." However, there is no field / button to select that says "Dashboard." This can make things difficult for new users (like me).
Please change "All Settings" to "All Settings / Dashboard."

Shared calendar with notifications
It would be great if there were a shared calendar (e.g., "family") that notified all users of the calendar whenever somebody made a change, addition, or deletion. For example, if I added an appointment to the family calendar, all the other family members would be notified that I added something. Or if a family member changed an appointment, I would receive a notification that the appointment had been changed & by whom.

Optional login alias (non-email authentication identifier)
Allow users to create an optional login alias that is not an email address and is used only for authentication.
Example:
• Account email: "username@protonmail.com"
• Login alias: "shaolintemple" (as an example)User can log in with either:
• email address
• existing username (email without domain)
• login alias
• whichever they preferThe login alias would:
• Not receive email
• Not resolve to @proton.me / @protonmail.com
• Be usable only on the login screen
• Be fully optional (opt-in)Why:
For power users, this adds defense-in-depth by preventing easy inference of a user’s email address…

Sheet: Default Arrow Key navigation to "Edit Mode" (character-by-character)
Currently, when a cell is active and I use the arrow keys, the focus jumps to the neighboring cell.
I would prefer where using the Left/Right arrow keys moves the cursor between the characters within the active cell or formula bar instead of switching cells. Google Sheet does this as default.
Example Scenario:
- I have selected cell K10, which contains the text "Proton123".
- The cell is active/focused.
- When I press the Left Arrow key, I want the cursor to move between "3" and "2" inside the cell to allow for quick editing.
- Current behavior: It jumps to cell J10.
- Desired…

Unified Proton eSIM & VoIP Feature
As a fairly new Proton user (Mail, Calendar, Drive, VPN, and Proton Pass), I’m writing to share a feature request that I believe could meaningfully expand Proton’s value proposition for professionals like myself who live and work internationally.
Proton already powers my email, cloud, VPN, and password management. The next logical step would be to consolidate communication and connectivity tools under the same privacy-first roof.
🔧 Feature Requests
Proton eSIM with Global or Regional Data Plans
• Privacy-first, encrypted mobile data with regional bundles (UK/EU, US/Canada, Asia-Pacific) and global roaming options
• Ideal for digital nomads and remote-first professionals

Let us use Proton as a login option on third-party websites (OAuth/SSO)
Right now, most websites let you sign in with Google, Facebook, GitHub, or Microsoft. Sure, it's convenient, but these companies literally track everything you do across the web.
I think Proton should offer something similar - a "Sign in with Proton" button that works like those other options, but actually respects our privacy. It would use standard OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, so any developer could easily integrate it.
Why this would be awesome:
No tracking or data mining from Big Tech companies
Fits perfectly with Proton's privacy mission
One secure account for multiple services (with our existing 2FA)
Gives…

Allow Proton Pass to autofill email 2FA codes sent to your Proton Mail account
It would be super helpful if proton pass (through anywhere where you can autofill with proton pass) could autofill email 2FA codes sent to your associated proton mail inbox, and then delete or archive the email after you’ve autofilled the code. Maybe it could autofill only the most recent email 2FA code, and only for 10 minutes after it has arrived, and then it only prompts you to autofill that code one time. It would identify and differentiate the code box the same way as it identifies and differentiates a password box from a username box from a email address…
