  1. Add better filter/sort for Inbox in Proton Mail

While filters allow you to set up rules for moving emails to other folders, I find when I do that I often miss important emails because I watch my inbox but don't have time to regularly go through every folder. When it's time to clean out my inbox (currently have 357 unread messages), it's nice to go through them by sender. I can sort by the size of the email or the receipt date, but not by sender. I can type in a filter at the top, but I have to remember to check "Inbox" or it shows me everything.…

  2. Customizable animated avatar for Lumo

    Hey Lumo team,

I love the animated Lumo avatar, but it would be awesome to let users customize it. A few ideas:

    • Theme picker – dark, neon, minimalist, etc . & Upload your own short GIF/PNG (with an optional “animation off” toggle for low‑bandwidth mode).
    • Live preview before saving, so we can see how it looks in‑chat.

Having a personal avatar would make the experience feel more “me” and keep the vibe fresh. Thanks for considering!

  3. Proton Profile

I want a firefox/windows feature that captures my user profile. I can launch it on a fresh linux install and it immediately brings my entire user profile down to the local device - so i can start working right where i left off.
All my short cuts, firefox favorites, etc.

Ideal for say a debian live usb stick - i install proton profile and boom im productive immediately right where i left off.

It local self destructs based on user setting or on idle.

  4. Expansion to Latin America

Proton is a very solid service and I'd like to see it expand to new markets such as Latina America, where privacy doesn't seem to be a great concern and now we're seeing a lot of private data leaked, stolen, etc., and all the crimes that come with it. I understand the pricing can't be the same as in the EU or the USA with the economic disparity in these regions, but surely some alliances could be made and a major awareness campaign can be created to teach people why their privacy matters more than ever. Both for individuals, families…

  5. Household Budget App

I am just a Japanese Proton user, and please forgive me for using multiple translation sites.Let's Build a Privacy-First home Budgeting App

Your income, expenses, and purchase history are among your most sensitive personal data—they reveal everything about your life. Yet most budgeting apps store this data in the cloud, analyze it, and sometimes share it with third parties. Data breaches, advertising exploitation, government and corporate surveillance—are you truly protected from these threats?

    What we need:

    • End-to-end encryption — designed so even developers can't read your data
    • Local-first data storage — kept only on your device
    • Zero tracking — no…

  6. Drive only subscription

Hey! I know this is something you'll have to really think through inside the company, but I'm sharing my case anyway!

I'm sorry if this idea was already suggested, but I couldn't find it.

I'd like a Drive-only subscription, just like we have an email-only one. I'd like to start using your services, but I already pay for another VPN and use another password manager. So paying for all of those if I'm not using them seems like a lot.

That is it. Thanks for considering this!

  8. Automatic scan of email with automatic generation of action points and drafting of answers.

For our company, I want to automate the information and operations flow. I think that an important aspect of automatic information and business operations flow would be an automation to read my emails, draft action points, communicate those action points to me and other stakeholders, and draft answering emails (including proposing scheduling Zoom meetings using dates and times from my Proton calendar). I would like to export the action items so I can draft full plans in software like Perplexity.

  9. blocco mail fastidiose

  10. Put Proton on Tizen

Please support Tizen, as Samsung TVs don't have any way of directly connecting to a VPN.

  13. Consistent Cross-Platform Functionality

Proton apps should offer consistent functionality across mobile, desktop, and the web. Currently, several important actions are only available in one version, forcing users to switch platforms unnecessarily.

    Examples:

Proton Drive: File sharing cannot be initiated from the mobile or desktop app and requires opening the web version. Sharing should be possible directly within the apps.

Calendar: Sharing a calendar with another Proton user currently works only on desktop, not on mobile.

  14. Mail: Bad dark mode UX for email signatures

Proton Mail corrupts my own signature when composing emails in dark mode. For no good reason, signatures draft as light mode blocks, in an otherwise entirely dark mode platform.

  15. Financial Data Aggregator

Would love to have a financial data aggregator a la Quicken or Mint using Proton encryption and collaboration to be able to be shared with my partner on my Proton Duo account. Net Worth, Budgeting, Retirement, Debt tracking, Credit score tracking, receipt tracking, etc. Integrate via Mx or Plaid, use budget notifications. Maybe even pairing with ID Protection insurance programs like Lifelock or Allstate ID Pro+.

  16. Real contact groups for the Family Plan

We have migrated with our family from Google Workspace to Proton and expected to have the contact group feature in the family plan like described in https://proton.me/support/groups.
So like we used to do with Google Groups where we could add family members to a group and assign one or more e-mail addresses to this group so everybody in this group recieves a copy and can send on behalf of this group address. For instance myfamily@mydomain.com.
Both https://proton.me/support/groups and https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail-calendar/suggestions/7695942-contact-groups mention this. The group feature in the Proton Family Plan is very limited right now so please add this…

  17. Simple Login: Support DMARC reports

Currently SimpleLogin supports DMARC for user contolled domains, although does not provide the integrated possiblity to monitor dmarc for anomalies.

As such it would be a great addition to include the functionality to send dmarc reports (via the rua/ruf tag) to a simplelogin controlled email.
This would allow users to monitor for possible misconfigurations, and if emails might be abused, by third parties if there are DKIM/SPF failures.
It would be nice, if human readable reports can be generated out of this and if they were optionally send on a regular basis (e.g. once a month) to the…

  18. Get rid of the Black Friday promo all together

We live in a world of overconsumption. With a climate crises and ecological crisis as a result. Black Friday is synonym for overconsumption and therefor completely unethical. It is unbelieveable how agressively Proton forces their users into this cheap cr@ppy low capitalist habit. Year after year.

  19. Dedicated RSS feeds for individual categories in Proton Blog

Proton publishes a whole bunch of good and useful information in their blog. They also publish a bunch of irrelevant content that doesn't interest me. These posts are already categorized. However there's only one RSS feed that shows ALL content. Please add a dedicated feed for your existing categories. It would be super easy.

  20. Pass Monitor: Inconsistent UI

Pass Monitor normally applies a green color to items which are satisfied for security checks. However, the "Excluded items" section fails to highlight in green. Even when zero items are excluded from scans.
