  1. Reader mode? Or sender-specific styles?

    It would be nice if message body styles from specific senders or domains, say substack.com for example, could be customized for a better tailored experience. The specific thing I'm after is a nicer reading experience for text-heavy emails like newsletters without having to bump the text size of the entire Proton Mail UI up and down to read certain messages.

  2. a protected phone number aliases

    A service that allow me to create phone number aliases to protect my real phone number.

    also allowing me to decide whether to apply a supplementary charge rate to incoming calls on specific alias number or not.
    All unwanted calls will be charged at a higher rate than a normal call.

    A mobile application to keep an eyes on our family, love one, children, parents but with the privacy of proton.

    The application could provide with approbation :
    - precise gps position tracking
    - current batteries level
    - current network level
    - general important alerts (terrorism, disaster)
    - panic message / button
    - alerts (an airtag is following you / scam detected)
    - accident / fall detection
    - medical reminder

  4. E-mail e calendário com integração bilateral

    Eu gerencio várias contas de e-mail e calendário e gostaria de centralizar essa gestão nos meus aplicativos da proton, de forma bilateral. Apesar de conseguir receber e ler os e-mails e eventos, a proton não permite que eu responda e-mails com os respectivos endereços e assinaturas daquele que recebi. E os calendários não atualizam os calendários originais das contas. Seria muito útil se os apps de e-mail e calendário permitissem essa integração bilateral. Não aguento mais usar vários aplicativos pra fazer essa tarefa tão simples.

  5. Develop a 2FA application

    Create a 2FA application to be used with Proton applications as well as 3rd party systems that require authentication. It would also be great if you could import settings from a different authentication provider such as Google, DUO, Microsoft, etc.

  6. Ability to choose which services have Beta enabled

    Currently joining the beta program is a single toggle. You enter beta for all services: Email, Calendar, Wallet...

    I would absolutely love to contribute and join the Beta for most services. However, for the Proton Wallet I absolutely do not want to use beta version.

    I feel like it would be better if I could select which services may use the Beta version, instead of enabling it to every single service.

  7. Don't forward Gmail spam to Proton Inbox

    When Proton Mail connects with Gmail, it sends Gmail spam to the Proton Inbox. This carries phishing security risks.

    Junk mail should route to the Proton spam folder. Or just skip importing it at all.

    With how many if not all weather services aren't safe these days. How about Proton Weather? A weather program that doesn't covertly steal your privacy. I live in The States, and the new dictator is trying to get rid of weather forecasting in some form or fashion.

  9. Cant see Calender Event "Topic" in Mail Remainder in the Proton Mail App

    You cant see the topic of the calender Reminder in the Proton Mail App, when you get an Email Reminder on a Calender entry.

    You see it in the Windows Client but not in the App for the cell phone. To see the topic you actually have to jump from the Mail App to the calendar.

  10. Make all photos available offline on Mobile

    Photos are very slow to load, making it difficult for me to scroll back and find particular events.

    Individual photos have the option to "Make available offline", but when I select all the photos I can only Download or Move to trash.

    I'd like an option to make all my photos available offline.

    A "Proton Social" app/instance, something that might have come to mind once or twice.
    So what should the instance be? Mastodon, as it's currently the biggest and most compatible with other Fediverse content.

    A key reference for this due to a similar but not same setup is Vivaldi Social's instance of Vivaldi, using Vivaldi accounts. In a similar manner, Proton Social will use Proton Accounts, but the account username is not tied to the proton account. (during sign-up, username is selected then to complete registration login to a valid proton account similar to simplelogin must be done)

    Thanks for the Calendar widget, but even the small version is HUGE. Please make a version that only takes the space of 4 app icons, instead of 8.

  14. Add a 'scroll by year' scrollbar (like google photos) to the photos section of drive

    I just imported my 20 year archive of photo's into proton Photos.
    Currently there is no real way to navigate this collection except by spending the day scrolling.
    I personally really like the google photos 'scroll by year' feature. It works for me.

  15. The Proton Help videos cannot be enlarged and are too small to view (on Mac)

    Please make the Proton Help videos larger and add audio to them. I can't see things like titles on systems settings displayed in the video - even with a magnifying glass. The font appears to be about .01 in size. We need to be able to zoom out or maximize/resize the window. If there was audio included, we could use that in the meantime. The video I was trying to view is the one about Login Items & Extensions on Mac. I still can't figure this out, despite seeking Help. Thank you!

  16. Request for Serbian Language Support in Proton Applications

    Dear Proton Team,

    I would like to suggest adding Serbian language support across all Proton applications. Serbian is very similar to Croatian, which is already available, so implementing it should not require significant additional effort.

    I believe there are many users from Serbia who would appreciate this addition, as it would make Proton’s services even more accessible and user-friendly for us.

  17. Make the reply window movable.

    When I reply to an email, the compose window is stuck to the bottom. I can either maximize it to full window, or minimize it. But it is still stuck. I would like to be able to move it to my other monitor, or even just move it out of the way to re-read the email I am responding to while I am typing my response. It is always in the way, and I have to keep minimizing it to read the email, then enlarging it to type more response. I want to be able to move it around with…

  18. Google Suite

    Honestly, just copy everything Google does with their contacts, calendar, notes, tasks, etc. It's super frustrating that their suite of applications is as excellent as it is for such an evil company.

    I'm finding it very difficult to make the move over to Proton because of missing features.

  19. Add a one-stop 'Hub' for all mail and calendars

    My Proton products do not show up in the outdated mail app I use at the moment, Blackberry Hub for Android. Yet the concept is amazing - one inbox for all my mail and texts and messages, with a swipe-down access to the calendar. This enables me to turn almost all notifications off and simply check one master box to see notifications from Signal, work email, Teams, personal mail, social media, etc etc., and change views depending on whether I am at work or no. In addition, my calendars - work (MS Office), personal (Proton), and shared family (Apple atm)…

  20. Your company needs diversity.

    I was looking through your About Me and Team pages and noticed how lacking of racial diversity Proton is. I understand this is a Switzerland-based company, but diversity is an essential factor for me as I search for a replacement to my Google products. Please hire more black and brown employees to represent the beautiful human diversity on this planet.
