  1. "Mobile Apps" Category for Proton Pass

I have dozens of iOS app logins which are usually email/password or sign in with apple etc. Currently I am using lots of notes in my vault - this is messy and aesthetically annoying! It would be nice to have an icon to differentiate between iOS apps and notes.

  2. MS Teams like collaboration environment using proton ecosystem

Environment that has similar chat, channel etc features as MS Teams. Ability to add app like features there, such as calendar and meets. Easy file sharing that uses the proton Drive.

I would switch instantly to proton if that would be available.

  3. Suggestion for Improving Email Interface: Simplifying the User Experience

I would like to suggest simplifying the email interface. Specifically, I’d like a way to compose and send emails directly without having to see or read my inbox first.

  4. Resolve the glitches in editing a table within a Proton Doc while on a mobile device.

We are a small co-operative team trying to collaborate. We are using mobile devices, and we can't easily edit tables because:

    1. Selecting the column is a bunch of trial and error
    2. Sometimes we start entering information in, and then it stops allowing us to type in information, requiring multiple attempts.

Please resolve these bugs. This is hindering adoption for our teammates.

  6. Privacy-conscious age verification application with double anonymity (and ideally on-device, zero-knowledge, and open source)

Governments around the world, especially in Europe, are currently enforcing age verification for social media and other online platforms, in the name of protecting minors. The idea is commendable, but the way it is being done requires users to provide identification to a “trusted” third party and, above all, to link their real identity to their online identity, which completely undermines privacy. We have witnessed enough leaks lately to know that this data will eventually leak if it is stored.

Proton could develop an age verification (or more generally, identity verification) application that could be used on social networks (or…

  7. Would be cool if anyone could vibe code apps within Proton environment

I used Claude to make a not so simple todo "app" that loads in my browser. Works great! Would be great if it ran inside Proton Drive or wherever it would be encrypted and synced. In fact, would be great if we could vibe code whatever we wanted inside Proton encryption universe and it syncs the data. Apps could be private or public. Proton could have an entire app "store" of user made apps.

I have never written a line of code in my life. This idea is for non-coders!

  9. Mobile Apps: Do not prompt for FIDO2 pin (be consistent with website)

I don't know about the Android apps, but on iOS, the dialogue prompts for the pin when using a security key.

This is not the case on the website, and in my opinion, requesting the pin only makes sense when the key is the only factor, in Proton's case, the user's password is already required.

  10. Quad9 Private Relay

Apple's Private Relay is a cool and effective setup. It made me think about a system-wide alternative, hence the title. It could almost be a service in its own right, seperate from Proton VPN but included in the vpn interface for Plus/Ultimate subscribers. You could also build on top of that partnership for a tor alternative and bring Mullvad in as the middle node (vice-versa for users already using mullvad vpn). All three could have dedicated optimized servers for the service. "Mullton9" ? Lol. "Provad9" sounds too much like an ED med. Use-case would be someone who just wants privacy…

  13. Option to disable login via aliases

The idea: A user could choose to allow logins only through their primary (default) address (e.g., aaa@proton.me).
Any login attempts using an alias (e.g., bbb@proton.me) would be automatically rejected, even if the correct password is provided.
This would prevent attackers from trying to brute-force the account even if they know one of the aliases.

  14. A Matrix discord alternative?

I know a lot of people already made a suggestion like this but I was thinking I could give some insight on the tech I'd like to see implemented too, https://matrix.org/ is "An open network for secure, decentralised communication", there's no reason for proton itself to recreate a whole system if this already exists, and since proton meet is here too that could be the solution to voice chat integrated into the discord alternative.

Currently there's like no viable discord alternative but if there's one company I think can do it it'll probably be someone like proton or steam etc

  16. IMAP Label Support in Proton Mail Bridge (X‑GM‑EXT‑1 or equivalent)

    Hello Proton Mail Bridge Team,

I would like to request support for applying Proton Mail labels via IMAP.

Currently, the Bridge exposes labels as IMAP folders (e.g., Labels/Paperless), but it does not support any IMAP mechanism for applying a label to a message.

    This creates a limitation:
    - When a user labels an email in Proton Mail, the Bridge shows it in both INBOX and the label folder (virtual projection).
    - When an IMAP client moves a message into Labels/<Label>, the message is removed from INBOX instead of receiving the label.
    - There is no IMAP command available to apply…

  17. This is in regards to the iPhone App. Default location is now the inbox vs last used location.

At some point, the phone app changed, when you open the App, it now defaults to the Inbox. I use filters heavily, and don't operate out of the Inbox at all. The app use to default to the last used location, it would be nice if that could either be default, or an option. Thanks

  18. Action Needed: Strengthening Technical and Legal Resilience in Europe

Please take seriously the escalating legal and technical pressures coming from major European sports‑broadcasting interests. You may soon face domain and IP‑level blocking in Spain, and it would be wise to prepare both technically and legally to protect your mission and your users. These organizations have substantial financial resources, strong relationships with large ISPs that distribute their content, and a history of securing favorable judicial decisions. Their actions should not be underestimated.

  19. Highlighting and formatting feature in emails

    Hello,

Been using Protonmail for a few good years. I am enjoy it. However, I had this idea (and i did the search and did not see pop up) of having a feature in the email of where you can highlight certain parts of paragraph in the email to make it stick out before you send it to someone, or keep it for yourself. Sometime i miss a date, or statement that was made in a email or vise versa. And I think if highlighting so I can see it and they can see it when it is sent to…

  20. Proton Spaces - an alternative to Teams/Slack/Discord/Telegram etc.

Currently, many companies and authorities in Europe are searching for realistic alternatives to Big Tech, and one area lacking a truly viable option is the space occupied by Microsoft Teams and Slack. We are also seeing increased skepticism toward Discord following the introduction of age verification. Furthermore, all these services are unencrypted and closed-source.

I believe there could be an opening here for Proton to step in and offer a privacy-friendly alternative and building a service similar to Teams/Slack/Discord that caters to both businesses and individuals. This would make Proton’s business suite more attractive and provide a natural integration with…
