Built in email translation for Proton Mail
Hello Proton Team,
I would like to propose a built-in translation feature directly inside Proton Mail. This would significantly improve usability, especially for international users.
Current problem:
Reading emails in foreign languages requires copying content into external services like DeepL or Google Translate. This interrupts workflow, increases friction, and creates unnecessary dependency on third-party tools.Real-world use cases:
International communication: Users receiving emails in English, Finnish, German, etc. need fast translation to understand content instantly
Newsletters & services: Many newsletters and automated emails are not localized
Business & work: Professionals communicating across countries need quick, reliable translations

Proton Keyboard Inspired By Swiftkey
I’ve been thinking that a Proton keyboard would be a total game-changer. Imagine something with the sleek design and smart suggestions of SwiftKey, but built by a team that actually respects privacy. It would be great if the app allowed us to toggle data storage for word predictions on or off, so we get the convenience of a smart keyboard without feeling like our every keystroke is being tracked.

Watch apps would be great
I would love wear os apps for proton mail and calendar. A wear os version of authenticator would also be convenient

APK for Proton Authenticator and Proton Lumo hosted on proton.me website.
These applications are currently hosted on GitHub and F-Droid, if you want an Android APK. I'd prefer to see these moved to verifiable and trusted Proton platform websites.

Proton PGP Keys signing & verifying all *nix/Windows/Android/iPhone apps. I think users should be able to verify their download.
Many other applications are signed and verified by their makers. Proton should have PGP keys referenced on their website, that sign and verify the applications for download are legitimate and verifiably Proton Products. Think Veracrypt/TAILS/Linux Mint. All those those OSes & software have PGP keys that you can check, in order to make sure what you're downloading is from who it says its from. If I'm using PGP keys within Proton to sign my email for this same purpose; I think Proton should also use these same keys to verify/sign its own products.

Ability to backup only the new photos you take on your phone, not all photos
It would be nice to have the option to backup only the new photos you take on your phone, not all photos that are on your phone, because I already backup my photos of the previous years in seperate folders in Proton Drive. Now I have duplicate photos. I have the same photos in seperate folders in Proton Drive and the same photos in the Photos tab. With this way I use a lot of my storage. I used to use the Sync.com app and they had this feature.

Black is the new purple - Let's make an OLED/AMOLED/ultra dark/black global theme for Proton apps and widgets
I would love to see Proton develop a #000000 (100% black) theme, alongside the current options, that can be applied to all widgets and apps. It is a well-known fact that true black menus consume less battery and are easier on the eyes. However, for those of us who primarily prefer dark mode for the aesthetic, I would love to see an option to go all the way and make the entire Proton experience pitch black. Move the "conversation moved to Trash" toast notification to the botton right of the screen
When I'm deleting a lot of messages, each deletion creates a "conversation moved to Trash" toast in the center of the screen, In browsers using more than 100% zoom and ultrawide monitors those messages quickly start to block the buttons of your list of e-mails.
I suggest to move this message to the right so it will not go over your e-mail list.

Multi-platform Contacts Manager for PC and Android
Contacts management happens on smartphones and most people use the google standard issue app. This raises huge privacy concerns. A Proton alternative could provide similar utility without the privacy issues of Google and could be made such that it syncs with a PC version.

Remove special offer spamming for already members
Please remove these big flashcolours buttons from all our softwares (drive, mail, pass, ...) when we are already subscribed to a premium offer of Proton.

Web site source code verification to mitigate compromised code
I want to propose having web site source code verification. This would mitigate malicious code being service by the user web interface at proton[.]me. There are several tools, most famous being Meta's open source 'Code Verify' that uses published hashes.
It's no secret that Proton's web interface is a weak point for password compromise - such as via a court order. My proposal would require Proton, or a trusted entity, posting the hashes of known good Proton.me interface web site code. Proton Sheets - does not support array-like indexing, example it does not have a way to dynamic skip rows automatically.
the formula for this is :

to multiply odd elements by 4 before sum the product
=SUMPRODUCT(IF(ISODD(SEQUENCE(ROWS(D10:D19))), 4, 1), D10:D19)
or sum the product of two arrays but IF is not expanded to a array

The addition of Swiss francs CHF as a currency formatting option would be very useful. It is a surprise it's not already an option given Proton is based in Switzerland!

ability to swap your account from individual to business and either pay the difference or get credit for extra payment. This would absolutely help.

Mail + Drive plan
Plan for mail and 1TB drive. I get the other bundling but it feels a bit like cable. Let the users pick the permutation and compute the price/discount on the fly. My use case for Proton is emailing and delivering large files to my clients.
Hopefully SimpleLogin is added to that list of bundled services.
