    since Spotify is now blocking VPN connections sometimes. maybe proton could step up and add a music app for 5 bucks a month...

  2. Automatic transfer: Allow filter recipient address

    Currently, Proton Mail's Automatic Transfer allow filtering emails set to transfer by Object, Sender or Attached file

    I would like to transfer only emails sent to a particular address or alias.

    Use case: I'd like to transfer all the newsletters I receive on newsletters@myprotondomain.fr to a Gmail address
    Some of them are sent directly, others via Proton or Relay alias

    I'd be able to generate automated AI summaries of my newsletters using Make or other tools that easily connect to Gmail, without sending my private emails to Google...

    Another use case would be transfering newsletters to a reader app like…

  3. Universal Password for All Services and Separate Passwords for Each

    Right now, I can set a password for Proton and a separate password for my email. This is convenient because I often use a VPN, and a single password is not enough. However, I don’t want to grant access to my email just because I used a VPN somewhere. Other services don’t offer this option.

    I propose keeping the ability to use a universal Proton password but also allowing each service to have its own password.

    This is very useful because I also frequently use a VPN at work. I use a simple Proton password to log into the VPN…

    being single its only me i have no need for proton duo , however id like the proton scribe writing assistant as i do a fair bit of writing, is there a way to offer it as a add on to the single user proton unlimited plan

    The packages for majority of Proton apps within the AUR (Arch User Repository) are either out of date or do not work anymore. For example, the current version of ProtonMail is 1.71, and the latest version on the AUR is 1.61, the ProtonVPN app is completely non-functional and abandoned (I need to connect directly using NetworkManager, meaning I cannot use all of the features of ProtonVPN to their full potential), etc. As devices like the Steam Deck, which are based on Arch, are gaining popularity.   8. Show subfolders content on Parent folder

    Hello,
    I would really love to be able to show all subfolders content when clicking their parent folder.
    I'm using folders for each domain i manage, and then subfolders for different emails purposes. But i would like to have the possibility for viewing all emails of the domain at once.
    I understand some may not like this behaviour, so this should be an option on the parent folder itself.

    My VPN subscription just expired. And I knew Proton had their own VPN now. I thought it would be convenient to use the same service for my email, VPN, and maybe Proton Drive as well. So I switched. I immediately regret. Now I have 4 new different apps for all the Proton stuff. Why not 1 Proton app, or maybe even an app manager sort of like Steam, but for just the Proton apps? All the Proton stuff in one place. When I open my Proton mail app, why not have the VPN, Drive, Password manager, etc all on tabs?…

  10. Allow logging in to proton account with two different accounts - one as an administrator, one as viewer-only

    Allow logging in to proton account with two different accounts - one as an administrator, and one as a viewer-only. You would then be able to login to your account on 'unsafe' devices with Proton Mail, Drive and Pass, but cannot change any of the settings, or send emails.

    This would then only be possible if logged in by the 'administrator' account, which could then be logged in on specific devices only.

  11. Stop highlighting new features in apps

    Please don't display in-app notifications (e.g. badges and "NEW" markers) to highlight features. Notifications in applications large and small have become oversaturated. It's impossible to get anything done anymore because there's always a dozen burgeoning notifications in the way.

    Put that junk in a product blog for the select few who want to be notified.

  12. Additional times for Auto-Lock

    Auto-lock is a very good idea, and I use it, of course. However, the jump from 5 minutes to an hour is really frustrating! I think there should be an "intermediate" time selection, maybe 30 minutes or so.

  13. Mobile widget refreshing too many times

    The iOS widget visually flashes 2-3 times for each refresh tap. This looks bad, as if Proton is not sure whether the data is accurate.

    Unknown behavior on iPadOS.

  14. Display alias address in from field when sending from alias

    When responding to emails with a Pass alias, display the alias address that recipient will see, instead of the core Proton address that it was fwded to.

    Absolutely love that we can send emails FROM Pass aliases - something I always wished for when using iCloud hide-my-email.

    I tested it out with a non-Proton email of mine:
    1) Sent an email to a Pass alias.
    2) Checked Pass, and saw that a contact was automatically created for that alias, as it should.
    3) Responded to the email from Proton Mail.
    The response received in my non-Proton inbox did show that…

    As it is already possible in Google Drive I would like to be able to search for keywords inside my Drive documents (OCR scan, docs, sheets etc.). Once this funtionality is enabled count me and my family in.

  20. Be able to mute conversation threads

    Gmail allows you to mute conversation threads. Ever since switching from Gmail I really miss that feature because I use Listserve a lot.
