1. Sent Email count by sender

   I'm doing this now, manually, or at least trying to. Every time I send an email to my fiancee, I will, at the bottom, post the date sent and number of emails currently for that day. This way if any emails do not make it to her, she can see that something wasn't received. What this might look like:
   Sunday August 2, 2026 3 Emails
   Tuesday August 4, 2026 1 Email
   Wednesday Aug 5, 2026 1 Email
   Thursday August 6, 2026, 1 Email
   Saturday August 8, 2026 4 Emails
   Tuesday August 11, 2026 2 Emails 
   Monday, August 17, 2026 1 Email 
   Wednesday August 19, 2026 1 Email 
   Sunday August 23, 2026 1 Email
   It would roll up in September and look like this:
   August 2026 16 Emails total
   Tuesday, September 1, 2026 2 emails
   Thursday September 3, 2026 1 email
   This feature could be turned off or turned on for each individual, as you might not want this for everyone, or anyone.

2. One place for all changelogs

   I would like to suggest one single place for all the changelogs/release notes for all Proton products. At the moment they are little bit here and there or not available at all. It would be nice if these where gathered to one single place.

   I like to keep an eye on products that I use daily, to see the new features make sure that I take ones I need or like into use. This would make it easier with Proton products.

4. Talk to Mullvad, you're a match. They have the programming encryption for Great VPN Usage. You have the business size & workers &recognition

   Combine businesses, Mullvad has the greatest encryption & safe guards and data laws. People can still see me on your VPN. Mullvad is an extremely fruitful endeavor if you combine, learn from or find out how they do things.

   Proton is a bigger company and has more recognition, Mullvad has everything else, plus you guys hasve a cloud.

5. It should be possible to use filters in viewer mode in Proton Sheets. This makes working with the sheets much more useful for viewers.

   Viewers in Proton Sheets cannot use the column filters. However, filtering columns in large datasets is a valuable tool for viewers as well, and it does not alter the data. In my view, there is no need to save the filter set.

6. A Proton Web Browser based on the Servo web engine

   Proton should release their own web browser based on Servo instead of Chromium. There was a recent job posting by Proton to hire someone that could work on a Chromium based browser. Creating a Chromium based browser would be a mistake from a long term investment point of view. Chromium goes where ever Google chooses to take it. It is a bad idea to base such an important product on your primary competitor's technology and to be subject to their whims.

   While Servo is still an experimental engine, many of us would rather see Proton's money and engineering talent go toward a tech sovereignty aligned project instead of a project controlled by a monopolist that has been found to abuse their market position on many occasions. The Servo engine is hosted by Linux Europe and aligns with European and other middle powers' goals of becoming less reliant on potentially hostile or coercive countries for their technology stack. Basing the Proton browser on Servo would likely allow the Proton Foundation to access funds from European governments and would be an excellent differentiator for the browser in the long term.

   Basing the Proton web browser on Servo now would allow the Proton development team to steer the engine, its technology, and its components in a direction that would be beneficial to the goals of the Proton Foundation and community. A Chromium based product could allow Proton to get to market faster, but it would do so at the cost of undermining Proton's marketing and product story by having a Google based product in the product stack.

   If the leadership team feels the need to have a viable product sooner than Servo would allow, may I suggest basing a browser product on Firefox Extended Service Release (ESR). Firefox and Servo share some technologies and Firefox ESR would be less of a moving target than Chromium while allowing Proton to provide a safe, secure, and more extensible product for the community sooner than later. Several privacy-focused browsers already take this approach and privacy focused users would likely be fine with not having access to the latest and greatest features in exchange for a more secure product.

   The Firefox ESR based product could be called Proton Browser while the Servo based product could be called Proton Next to differentiate the products until Servo is ready to fully compete with Chromium. Having two products might be more expensive in the short term, but the costs could be defrayed by grants received from entities such as the German Sovereign Tech Agency.

7. Add a secure “Gaming & Entertainment” folder category for Proton Drive

   I think it would be useful to have an optional “Gaming & Entertainment” category or folder template in Proton Drive.

   Users could organize game-related files such as configuration files, manuals, screenshots, save backups, emulator documentation, and other personal gaming resources in one place.

   This could be particularly useful for people who maintain collections of older games and emulation-related documentation. For example, I often find it helpful to keep PS2 BIOS and emulation reference information organized alongside other gaming resources.    An optional template could include:

   Game Saves
   Configuration Files
   Manuals & Guides
   Screenshots

   Proton apps need to be distributed via repos on Linux.

   Only VPN currently is available via a repo.

   Please make them all available from a Proton repo.

   Having to rely on in-app notifications, that might not or don't work, is not great at all.

   I want to be able to install and update them from terminal.

10. Modèles d'emails réutilisables avec association automatique aux correspondants fréquents

    Problème constaté

    À l'heure actuelle, Proton Mail ne propose aucune fonctionnalité native de modèles d'e-mails (mails-types). Les utilisateurs qui communiquent régulièrement avec les mêmes correspondants (clients, prestataires, collègues, administrations) doivent recopier manuellement le même contenu à chaque message, ou recourir à des contournements peu pratiques :

    • Copier-coller depuis des brouillons enregistrés dans un dossier dédié ;
    • Utiliser un client externe (Thunderbird) via Proton Bridge, ce qui n'est pas disponible sur tous les plans ni sur toutes les plateformes ;
    • Rédiger depuis zéro à chaque fois.

    Ces contournements ne permettent pas de profiter pleinement de l'éditeur de Proton Mail, et surtout aucune solution n'existe pour associer un modèle à un correspondant spécifique.

    Solution proposée

    1. Une bibliothèque de modèles gérable depuis les paramètres (Paramètres → Tous les paramètres → Mail → Modèles) : création, édition, duplication, suppression de corps de messages types, avec variables optionnelles (ex. {prénom}, {société}, {date}).
    2. L'association de modèles à des correspondants : pour chaque modèle, possibilité de lier un ou plusieurs contacts (ou groupes de contacts) issus de Carnet d'adresses Proton.
    3. Une suggestion contextuelle dans l'éditeur : lorsque l'utilisateur rédige un message à un correspondant associé, le modèle pertinent est proposé automatiquement (suggestion non intrusive, en un clic), ou accessible via le bouton « Insérer un modèle ».
    4. La compatibilité mobile : les modèles accessibles et insérables depuis les applications iOS/Android.

    Scénarios d'usage

    • Freelance : chaque client dispose d'un compte rendu mensuel type ; lors de la rédaction à ce client, le modèle correspondant est suggéré automatiquement, avec {prénom} déjà remplacé par le prénom du contact.
    • Responsable RH : modèles d'accueil, de relance ou de fin de contrat, associés à des groupes « candidats », « nouvelles recrues », « sortants ».
    • Support/association : réponses types différenciées selon l'interlocuteur (bénévoles, partenaires, donateurs), sans risque de se tromper de formulation.

    Bénéfices attendus

    • Gain de temps significatif pour les utilisateurs professionnels, qui représentent une part croissante de la base Proton ;
    • Réduction des erreurs (mauvais destinataire d'un message type, oubli d'un élément de contenu) ;
    • Cohérence de la communication avec chaque interlocuteur, tout en conservant la personnalisation grâce aux variables ;
    • Synergie avec l'écosystème Proton : appui sur le Carnet d'adresses et les groupes de contacts existants, et complémentarité avec Proton Scribe (modèle de base + peaufinage par l'IA) ;
    • Parité concurrentielle : cette fonctionnalité existe chez Gmail (modèles + envoi programmé) et Outlook ; son absence est fréquemment citée comme frein à la migration vers Proton Mail, notamment en contexte professionnel.

11. Agenda view 5 days (on phone)

    As a fan of Proton Agenda, it would be great if a 5 days view could be added.
    As most people use their agenda mainly for work, it gives a handy overview of appontments.
    7 days is a bit too much on a phone, 3 days misses the overview. 5 would be perfect!

12. Page printer view in Docs

    For the love of god. Docs are virtually unusable to professionals in their current form. I will request this ONE tiny thing so it doesn't get declined, but seriously, Docs has a LONG way to go before the masses will join Proton. At the very least, please show us the actual page so we can see how it will print.

14. Proton podcast

    I would love to see a Proton podcast. I listen to a lot of Tech podcasts, and listening to the DuckDuckGo podcast recently made me want a Proton podcast.

    But...I understand having a podcast may take time away from building and improving Proton apps and services, so I understand if it never happens. I/we will just have to rely on blog posts, and podcasts that Andy Yen and others are on.

17. Proton User Voice Staff and Moderation

    Can we please have two things in the User Voice for Proton:

    1) Can some member of staff actually go through the "ideas" and "label" them so that new users know what is already on the future list and what is denied,

    2) Can the User Voice threads be moderated and can spammers be removed and their spam deleted? I am tired of getting multiple notifications per day "on topics I follow" and its SPAM....I got over 20 this morning and most of them were the same idiot on the same thread that posted like a dozen posts in 1 minute.....do you not have any line of code that catches something like that and blocks the poster? You can't seriously believe that an actual user is posting multiple comments at the same time, can you?

18. Special deals : Enable annual plan to be paid monthly with an engagement

    Today, Proton offers very often special deals for annual plan.
    Treasury-wise, it does not allow persons on a budget to upgrade to a special deal.
    If the annual plan could have an option to offer a monthly payment plan (with an engagement to pay for the year/2 year), it would for sure drive more users to the bigger plans available.

19. Proton Calendar | Page de réservation - zones ******

    Hello,

    I am currently exploring Proton Calendar because I want to move away from Google apps and others (e.g., Calendly).

    It would be great if we could add buffer zones around already booked slots on Proton Calendar booking pages, similar to how Calendly handles it.
    (This would allow for the inclusion of, say, average travel time, so that availability accounts for a buffer period before and after existing calendar appointments.)

20. Stop pushing intrusive ads on Proton services!

    An ad for the Duo subscription pops up every time I open a Proton service like mail or pass that blocks the entire screen and I have to manually dismiss before I can actually do what I logged in to do. I am already paying for unlimited and neither need nor want Duo. The overlap between people who don't like ads and people who pay for the privacy that Proton provides is pretty significant- this a tactic that is likely to drive myself and others away from your company.
