I want a privacy-focused program that values well-made encrypted services. Email and drive. Maybe even a level-headed and normal person running the show. That’s it! Stay focused!!

Temper your expectations with AI. Remove your CEO and top management if you have to.
The latest news is horrible for Proton. Make no mistake on that.
Most of us aren't demanding 0 AI at all. I understand that AI can hack faster than humans can protect us on their own.
But please let your engineers review the code at the very least. I don't need them to physically type every keystroke. Let them assess the AI code all they want. Do the pentests, do the audits.

Your CTO and CEO need to have their employment terminated effective immediately.Any employee who has suffered psychological distress by th absurd and unacceptable behaviour from Boris and Yen needs to be compensated.

Treat your staff with humanity and respect
Do not proceed with this AI Re-Interview.
I, along with many others migrated to Proton from Google or other platforms not just for privacy but also to support an ethical company. This recent push to use AI adoption as a basis to terminate staff along with other actions which align the company with far-right political entities flies in the face of this.
If Proton goes through with these AI Re-Interviews, and ends up terminating staff as a result of it I will cancel my subscription and move my data elsewhere.

Respect your employees more! Are they doing good work - yes or no. It should not matter at ALL if they use AI or not, only if they are doing good work period.

Proton needs a leadership overhaul - remove Andy Yen
The only reason I switched to Proton this year was to escape AI-ridden big tech. I'm incredibly disappointed to learn the CEO seems to be experiencing the same delusions as other companies. This goes completely against everything that made Proton unique. I do not want AI shoved into Proton products. I do not want my privacy and security centered applications to be written by AI, ESPECIALLY if real engineers are not given time to properly review and test changes.

Andy Yen needs to resign immediately
I used to love Proton. I've been a user for years. I appreciated how robust and how hard working the staff were at delivering excellent products for an affordable price.
I can no longer recommend Proton to people if Andy Yen is currently pushing for AI like some college aged child. Calling the idea of testing code for something as crucial as Proton 'loser talk' is downright stupid, and reads more like intentional sabotage of the service.

Andy Yen, CEO, should step down completely
It is unacceptable that Proton is going the AI Psychosis route because of the C-Suite when it's against everything their customer base wants.
Proton is actively going against their market and customer base with this decision, and this should be enough to fire and have Andy Yen and any other C-suite member that agrees with the plan to resign immediately.

Include Standard Notes with Proton Subscription
Since Standard Notes (SN) is part of Proton, it should really be included in subscriptions, at least the unlimited plan. (For an "unlimited" subscription, there seems to be a growing list of limitations; first it didn't include SN, now it also doesn't include Lumo AI.) Upgrade Proton Meet 1 hour limit for paying subcribers
Proton Meet is a great service. I think you should consider upgrading the time limit for paid plans to 3 hours. I have no problem with the limit of quantity as I understand you don't want us to make big business with a "semi-free" service but we still are subcribers paying for privacy. 1 hour is too short. Please be a little more generous with your subcribers.

Deeply Disappointed - Remove Your CEO and Change Your Ideals
When I chose Proton to be my Google alternative, I did not go all in at once. It seems the lesson I learned from the difficulty of Google extraction was a good one, and I'm glad I set myself up such that it would be relatively easy to get out of Proton, should they grossly misbehave.

Hire a decent Comms Officer and listen to them.
You need to read the room, your audience doesn't want to hear delusional ramblings about a vaunted AI future but how you will implement AI tools in a safe way that prioritises your employees and keeps a human eye on your product. A ranting CEO calling his employees losers is not the image you want to project.

Stop bothering paying customers with intrusive ads !
As a paying customer (Unlimited plan, €9.99/month), I was greeted this morning by an ad for Proton Duo that covered the entire interface of the Proton Pass browser extension when I opened it!
On top of that, 'special offers' keep popping up across every web interface. They are less intrusive, but still not what you expect from a paid app.
I pay for Proton ; I do not expect to see ads.

Turn Proton Unlimited back to Unlimited
I have begun to see that Proton Unlimited is not unlimited anymore for example Proton Meet/Lumo have no benefits included for Unlimited subscribers even Proton AI Email generator has no limited use for Unlimited but only a free trial.
