Lumo integration into other proton apps (mail/calendar/drive etc)
Hi all, would be great if Lumo could be integrated into current and new proton apps such as mail so it can be used to help compose emails, create calendar entries etc.

Lumo Developer API
I would love to be able to programmatically call Lumo to perform advanced queries against the LLM, including the ability to run tools and functions. I'm an avid Home Assistant user that uses the OpenAI API to interface with local devices. I would prefer to use a secure and private API to do this, and am willing to pay for this capability with a similar cost structure to the OpenAI API.

Memory or Knowledge Functionality for Lumo

Support pasting image (screenshot) directly to chat
As a software developer, I tend to screenshot my code screen (automatic copy) and just pasting it directly to the chat, no file saving needed. This is not possible on lumo web app right now but easily doable for chatgpt

Moving chats to/between projects
It would be extremely helpful to be able to move chats to/between project folders. I usually don't have the foresight to know when something will be big enough to be a project, or I might change my mind in the future and reorganize projects. Not being able to move existing chats that have been really helpful is extremely limiting, and doesn't incentivize me to to use the Projects feature at all despite how messy my existing chat history is.

Lumo - Export Full Chat
In an effort to keep a clean history in Lumo, it would be nice to be able to export full chats instead of having to copy and paste individual responses. This would be similar to duck.ai's export feature.

Expose the underlying model name
I understand that offerings such as copilot also hide the underlying models, but I would really appreciate it if the model used with any given answer would be named. Currently, we only have a list in the supporting documentation of the possible models that may be used, and then in the answer it isn't reveled anywhere which model generated it. If the user directly asks, then the model will refuse. I assume this is because the model itself doesn't know, or it has been forbidden from revealing by the system prompt. Lumo button to allow permanent web search
Web search is crucial for AI answers IMO. It would be nice to not have to click the "Web Search" button every time I open the app. Great product though!

Enhance Lumo to allow file creation with download links
While its nice to have Lumo create file content, its tedious to have to copy and paste in-and-out of Lumo. This is especially true when the files are of different formats. Say, I want to have Lumo create several MD files based on a basic template I provide and a couple of bash scripts to perform various tasks. Today I have to copy and paste each to its own file, which is time consuming. It would be better if Lumo could create the files, bundle them into a compressed file format of my choice (zip, bzip2, xz, 7z, etc.) and…

Add Lumo to Firefox AI chatbots

Add a usage tab to Lumo
Lumo should provide a dedicated usage tab where users can see their daily resource consumption in real time, including Max model requests, image generations, and any other rate-limited features.
Lumo enforces daily limits on features like the Max model and image generations, but these limits are not surfaced to the user. The only feedback is an automatic fallback from Max to Lite when the daily Max cap is reached. Users have no way to check how much of their quota they've used or how much remains, making it difficult to manage their own consumption throughout the day.

Make it possible for Lumo to interact (via an dedicated Proton AI agent) with all your apps within the Proton Suite
E.g.
I want to tell Lumo that it should add the vacation details of the last Protonmail I've received to my Proton calendar
update a specific proton Sheet with the latest information I give it (add a number to a column)
show me photos of my vacation in October last year (e.g. only selfie photos)
ask when my Proton subscription will expire.

The idea is to have one Proton app to manage your entire Proton suite. Like a secretary. ofc you would need to set up everything separately.

Ability to affect the model choice
Especially for paying power users, it would be nice to have the ability to manually affect the choice between models. I understand if this doesn't fit your service framework, but I wanted to just put this out there.

Date and time in responses
Lumo doesn't give any indication of the time of the response. This is missing if one looks at later responses. And in general, it's good to time stamp events;-)

Really needs image OCR
There are a lot of image processing requests here. All basically requesting the same thing with different wording. Moderators should combine them to increase the votes. Basically we need Optical Character Recognition for uploaded images, and some PDFs that contain bitmaps. On a cell phone, this is critical and the primary reason I rarely use lumo. Being able to upload a screenshot of a log file, or a code routine, or a medical lab result and have it convert to text and analyze it is really needed. Voice Mode and Assistant
Lumo should support Voice Mode and Android Digital Assistant integration
Lumo would become much more useful with a voice conversation mode similar to Gemini or ChatGPT Voice.
It would also be great if Lumo could be set as the default Android Digital Assistant, allowing users to launch it via the power button or assistant gesture and use it hands-free like Google Assistant.For privacy-focused users already using the Proton ecosystem, this would be a fantastic alternative to Google's AI assistant. 👍

Extend Lumo to have integrated TTS/STT for full Voice Interaction
For general Chat, its really nice to be able to have a conversation using voice rather than keyboard. And while I know that the Android/IOS apps offers STT, its unfortunate that I have to use the phones TTS to complete the loop. For my tablet and/or webbrowser a full TTS/STT feature would be nice.
