Support pasting image (screenshot) directly to chat
As a software developer, I tend to screenshot my code screen (automatic copy) and just pasting it directly to the chat, no file saving needed. This is not possible on lumo web app right now but easily doable for chatgpt

I want to add something before it's full out:
Phone app = can take picture without it saving on device. Aka similar to ghost mode when we just want to ask something quickly.
on PC = similar to microsoft's snipping tool: as we we press a new button, and now when we click (LMB) and HOLD, it will take a screenshot that is send straight to our proton drive <- yes, i am talking that drive plus and lumo plus are needed. This is very intentional because i want to reduce the risk of people abusing what i suggested. Aka the saved image is stored in proton's drive = user, if does something illegal or similar, will now be penalised for breaking the agreement of non abuse. <- CRITICAL: I am talking about people who commit illegal activities. And yes, i know it's easy for them to "do it anyway", but (sadly) that is not what i try to achieve (more like i can't change that). What i try to achieve is that websites won't ban US (see VPN bans due to such cases), also that proton's 0 privacy will NOT be compromised. As in, if someone does not like proton's privacy policy, they will intentionally hire people, or even use bots, to abuse what i suggested so that proton has no chose but to compromise the current privacy. While if the images are stored in the drive, they are subject to the current "no abuse, no illegal, no (etc)", meaning there is no reason for Proton, even if other demand, to compromise the privacy policy due to people with malicious intentions.
Also to finish up. I said about holding the LMB to take a screenshot. Now i will not suggest to do a "screen recording" but insted i suggest the RMB to be a "merge".
Let's say i used LMB to take a screenshot. Then i hold RMB until i see a notification indicating. So i let go of the RMB, readjust the screen (scrolling) and then press LMB again.
This means there are 2 images taken. But, due to the RMB was press hold in between, Lumo will take the 2 screenshots, and merge them.
Alternative for RMB: instead of the full screen, it activates a "select area".

Nope. Neither png nor jpg works. I just get an error message that the file format is not supported.

Like the other people here, I also tested this out and found that image files are still not supported. You can *technically* paste it in to the chat, though lol.

I am a new customer of Proton's and just started using Lumo. I came here to say this myself. I upload a lot of screenshots because I'm usually bouncing between a few different documents/work or just trying to be quick while I'm in the field. Only reason I want to comment is I am enjoying Proton's services and would like to continue seeing everything grow.

Even if not screenshots, just having a code window would be nice. Markdown doesn't handle comments and what have you all that well and it messes with the formatting. I never really tested to see if it confuses Lumo, but it looks atrocious and so I don't do it. Or even just allowing a toggle to turn off formatting so we can copy/paste code would be nice.

Image recognition and voice mode are the only reasons I still use Grok.

As I understand it, it cannot support images at all. How are you uploading images?
