Lumo - Export Full Chat
In an effort to keep a clean history in Lumo, it would be nice to be able to export full chats instead of having to copy and paste individual responses. This would be similar to duck.ai's export feature.

This is a missing feature keeping me from subscribing! Like to save important conversations locally that have information that can be used in the future. Even duck.ai basic exporting abilities is vastly more useful than the "exporting/copying" schemes suggested by Lumo itself! Many good suggestions of solutions in this thread, why not start with basic print function that works!

My suggestion would be that chats should be saved the Drive as json files, along with any uploaded file, to maintain the complete record. (similar to how LM Studio stores things locally)

It would also be, for the purpose of choices and regarding to where to store your full export, nice to be able to choose between Local machine or directly store to Proton Drive (behind the scenes directly from the web browser if available to user).
For those who find it hard to use markdown (personally I love it) an aditional option for exporting to open formats could also be an idea, like odf, odt etc (https://www.documentfoundation.org/), and/or docx.

Currently, Claude, ChatGPT, and Le Chat all provide an option to generate an archive containing all conversations.
I have developed the free and open-source Nexus AI Chat Importer plugin for Obsidian, which allows users to import their AI conversations into Obsidian. This enables users to build a personal knowledge base where conversations become searchable across their entire vault, can be linked with other notes and ideas, and remain accessible offline without depending on cloud platforms. The plugin currently supports Claude and ChatGPT. The next release will integrate Le Chat, and hopefully Lumo as well, if the export feature is added.
Adding this export capability would be critical for Proton Lumo to remain competitive. Privacy-conscious users who choose Proton specifically value data ownership and portability.
Without the ability to export and archive their conversations, Lumo falls behind competitors in a fundamental feature that aligns perfectly with Proton's core values of user control and data sovereignty. This feature would reinforce Proton's position as the privacy-first alternative while ensuring users can leverage their AI interactions as long-term knowledge assets.

Really important. I prefer peterw's suggestion (using markdown) to exporting like duck.ai, although both are better than nothing. I'd also like to be able to have a printed (eg to PDF) version. Some replies are going to be saved as documents. When I try "Print to PDF" (on Vivaldi 7.6, at least) all I get is a single empty page.

This should be added. I want to export my chat as markdown to store into my note app without individual copy paste.

OMG - this should be a no brainier - plus the ability to delete a specific response would be nice ... but definitely copy or export the whole chat.
