It has been 2 YEARS since Proton and Standard Notes "joined forces", and they behave more like they just tripped over each other yesterday. I find Standard Notes completely infuriating and untrustworthy. For example, there is no simple inline date/timestamp function. There is no undo function in "regular" notes. And, SuperNotes are completely unpredictable. If I highlight a word and delete it, Standard Notes is likely to delete additional text. I have tried to backspace to delete a character and had the cursor jump to a completely different line and start deleting. Something is terribly wrong with Standard Notes, and I have no intention of continuing to use it if they cannot correct these problems in short order. In its current state, I wouldn't use Standard Notes if it were free. I will go back to Joplin.

As long as those promotions and giveaways are available on all platforms and communication methods (and I do NOT know if they are), then Proton is not endorsing any particular platform or ideology.
Further, I would rather they spread the good word of what Proton is doing to perhaps enlighten others and encourage them to join the fight. To that end, promote on any and all outlets; otherwise they are just preaching to the choir.
