Proton Notes
secure notes? add-on to calendar or separate would be great.

It'd be incredibly if standard notes was fully adopted into proton notes, and brought up to standard with notion and the like. If it was even remotely close to notion with a real app i'd switch in an instance due to major privacy concerns.

having the docs facility in drive is nice, but I really want my notes unified in their own GUI/app to replace the apple notes app - I guess I really want a version of standard notes proton branded and included in my proton subscriptions.
If the plan is to be able to log into standard note with my proton login and go - then I'll be very happy i think. I just want it yesterday!

This is another important brick to replace all Google's services!

Three important things that are needed:
1. Docs editing on mobile (and the ability to quickly toggle between accounts)
2. Spreadsheets
3. Link previews in Docs (with the featured image) -

@Jwray, I was wondering that myself.

How long until we can log in to Standard Notes with our Proton accounts? My SN subscription runs out in a month and i'd like to be able to switch over

I agree @tekton. You would think a "Suite" would come with a Reminders/Tasks app. It's critical.

With Proton Notes coming, and Proton Calendar already in place, it would be a small step to add a smart task/to-do-list feature. Maybe even an app of it's own?

I'd love to see integration between the Proton suite and Standard Notes, with Standard Notes adopting the new collaborative editing features from Drive.
My dream Proton Notes (Standard Notes Redux) would have a clean Proton-consistent UI/UX; full integration with Proton Mail, Drive, and Calendar; a web clipper; notes (think Notesnook or current Standard Notes); voice notes; realtime collaborative editing; and granular permissions.
This could be built on a backend that would potentially be able to support other apps and database-like features such as a task manager (think Appflowy, Baserow, Anytype).

Needs to be a standalone app, with more dedication as a word processor.

proton notes is very very and much more important and it obvious from proton to help people for personal privacy. and not to lose their daily personal and important information.
hence Proton notes is very basic need and fundamental for all in online platform.

Integrated well and flexibly (a minimalist, obsidian, logseq, etc.), this is another killer addition. With drive, calendar, and mail, it nearly completes the productivity suite. I know that the Standard Notes developer did not integrate sharing because of complications. If the Proton team could accomplish this, this doubles the value of your product. It will be a challenge to not overwhelm, but worthwhile.

When will this take place within the current Paid Plans?

Encrypted notepad similar to Microsoft OneNote and google keep notes, take the best features from both and add some encryption.
One step closer to a secure ecosystem -

Add file editing functionality (i.e. Office suite) and you'd have people like me as a paying customer. Nextcloud's had it for years now (https://nextcloud.com/office/).

Did I recently choose between Obsidian and Standard Notes and picked Obsidian, then I read your announcement. However, when Standard Notes is well integrated into the Proton environment, I am willing to switch. Though I hope there is a good migration tool to move all my obsidian notes by then.

In the Proton Note effort, please include the following two great features currently in Evernote: Slash commands and headings that roll up (allow toggled collapsing and expanding of heading sections).

Awesome. I am really looking forward to a Proton notes app. Seamless, direct linking with Calendar, Mail, and Drive would be really nice. Please include reliable importing from Evernote.
