Greetings, may I please ask for a memo or notes feature like in all standard mail providers?
This is an imperative feature for me and my team. Thank you very much.

If this idea gets picked up, the ProtonMail team should read copy of Sönke Ahrens's book "How to Take Smart Notes": https://www.amazon.com/How-Take-Smart-Notes-Nonfiction/dp/1542866502.

The ability to stick personal notes to messages, such as reminders, complementary information, instructions which concern the message.
These notes are not meant to be shared with the recipient(s), but just useful for the user to track all information and data related to a message/topic. -

To use Protonmail like you would Google Docs:
1) Write to an email (make sure there is no recipient so that you won't accidentally send it)
2) Save as a draft (this is never deleted)
3) Next time you want to update this document, just keep writing to the same email draft and saveOptional: 4) Send to yourself whenever you want a backup since a draft could be easy to accidentally deleted)
*Using the draft copy instead of always sending it to yourself to "save" a copy ensures that you don't accidentally update an older copy.

I wish Protonmail had a container where I could put encrypted text notes.

I this it would be nice to have a place to store notes, passwords, sensitive documents, etc. A Google Drive like storage system would be what I would need to completely drop the Google Suite, but I would be appeased with just a simple note system. Something simple like iOS's Notes app: text, tables, checklists, potentially pictures, but the default profile's storage would fill up extremely quickly using photos.

Simple, secure notes similar to the unpaid features of standardnotes.org, but taking advantage of Protonmail's folders and tags functionality, would be huge!

I have to agree. It would proabaly take time to spin up, but you'd have a lot of people who'd jump from Onenote or Evernote to a zero-knowledge, secure alternative.

"We plan on offering secure cloud storage and note taking in the future."
Thanks guys this would be great.
I'd add a request but I'm sure you'll do whatever makes the most sense.
Personally, if the feature-set of documents creation (like Word) and business (like Excel) could be incorporated into one app (I'm not sure why everyone went the way of having a separate app for every function), that would be great. But I'll work with whatever you put out. You've got my vote and support.

Totall agree that some sort of encrypted Evernote-like service would be amazing. Probably my top feature ask in terms of data privacy right now - there is just no such offer from a reputable source.
