Partner With Duck Duck Go, Quad 9 DNS and Make Powerful Privacy Union.
Duck Duck Go , Quad 9 DnS and Proton all of these companies are all about users privacy.
It would be great to have these three companies working together. Duck Duck Go Handles the Browser, Proton handles the mail , Quad 9 handles the DNS.
I know there VPN which is good. But I don’t think Proton has a DNS yet. Partner up with Quad 9 , and Proton doesnt have broswer, partner up with Duck Duck Go.
Make one powerful privacy product with all three companies.
Thats just a dream for me. I hope this dream actually happens.

I'm not convinced that creating a DNS service (especially with the number of servers Proton already has access to worldwide via their VPN service) would cost them so much that they're better off working with Quad9 instead. Unnecessary external influence.

To be honest the 2 major choices are:
Brave (questionable decisions in past make them a possible privacy risk)
Librewolf (while not near as bad in the past, still is lacking against some of the security possessed by Chromium browsers)
So if anything, waiting until something like Ladybird releases to work with that if it’s secure and private should be done. -

Maybe Proton could acquire the private Kagi search engine. It's paid, ad-free model fit Proton more than DDG.
I think Proton could take over and become the custodian of Quad9 (a public-benefit not-for-profit foundation also based in Switzerland), although it seems fine as an independent foundation.
I would like Proton to expand from email to instant messaging by acquiring/merging with Signal or more likely Threema (a paid cross-platform encrypted private-by-design instant messaging app also based in Switzerland).

No to DuckDuckGo AND Brave.
LibreWolf would be a better
LibreWolf is a free and open-source web browser and fork of Firefox which intends to place an emphasis on privacy and security

DDG is not what it used to be. Brave is the current privacy focused browser to be using.

Do not trust DDG, Brave (As of right now) is far more trustworthy. they gave all kinds of information to the government, plus, Brave uses its own index, and has far more superior search results. Been using for like 2 years now, and I have only ever had like 5 times where I've needed to redirect to a different search engine

Duck Duck Go caved to government pressure. They are not safe. Instead, use Brave.
