Proton playing a service provider role in the IDAS 2.0 EU framework?
Dear proton, members, not sure whether this idea has been posted/thought about before: The European EIDAS 2.0 regulation has been approved in April 2024, and member states now have started the IT design and implementation. EIDAS 2.0 withe EUID wallet concept means opportunities but also privacy concerns with respect to saving electronic identities, certification, health information etc (e.q. everything one can store in de EUID wallet and exchange with other parties). I'd like (love) to see organisations such as Proton play a vital provider role with the EIDAS 2.0 frame work - such as the Wallet Provider role and the (Qualified) Trusted Service Provider ((Q) TSP) roles as defined by this framework.
