Proton Pass Monitor: Dark Web Scanning, Password Health, Inactive 2FA
It would be nice to keep my vault healthy with secure passwords. A dashboard could help manage this. Most other password managers have features likes this.
Hi everyone! We're happy to announce that Proton Pass Monitor is now available: https://proton.me/blog/proton-pass-monitor
✨ Discover weak and reused passwords
✨ Find accounts with inactive 2FA
✨ Get breach notifications for emails, aliases, and passwords.

I would like (an option) to badge Pass Monitor whenever my vaults have records with weak passwords. That way, I can proactively improve the security posture of my systems with fewer manual steps.
Other components like Dark Web Monitoring already badge Pass Monitor, so there is value in terms of consistency for applying the same notification mechanism for other Pass Monitor findings.

Agreed with Maarten below. This already exists in Pass Monitor. Look for "reused passwords" in https://proton.me/support/how-to-use-pass-monitor

Many users already have a password manager and may use Proton Pass alongside their existing one for a transitional period. This requires regular exporting and importing of passwords between Proton Pass and the old manager. Maintaining two password managers can also enhance security in case one fails.
However, this can lead to duplicate or even triplicate entries. It would be beneficial if Proton Pass could streamline your password list by identifying and removing redundant entries, simplifying password management.

I believe this functionality is available in the MacOS app under "Pass Monitor". I see an option that shows all 'reused passwords' and I've used it to resolve duplicate accounts.

Agreed, when trying to move my family from another password and how vaults are used in proton pass, it has created several duplicates which is now a nightmare to manage. Also the multi select does not have a select all or an easy way to select many without click on every entry.

I feel this is a much needed feature after importing passwords from other sources. As the size of our password vaults grow, it's critical that we have features to help keep Proton Pass organized.

Checking passwords, accounts, and emails should be a priority! Lately data breach is getting common!

In Proton Pass there are still not as many options that we need, For example, if we import several passwords from several places at once, it is obvious that there will be duplicate passwords, i.e. duplicate accounts, and we need something to alert us to delete the duplicate.

I hope it will monitor all my usernames and not only my main emailaddress.

It would also be great if you could specify up to 5 e-mail addresses, for example, which would also be monitored for breaches on the dark web.
Dashlane, for example, has this feature. -

Sort or search by password strength. Right now, you can sort by recency or A-Z. I would like to sort by password strength also so that I can occasionally update the weaker ones. If I can't search, though, I'd like to be able to search by strength.

Huge import mess from various sources. This should have been a feature a LONG time ago.

It would be nice if proton add this feature

Recently tried to import a saved password from my browser to Proton, but it duplicated all the already imported password. It's fine by me, but it would be nice that it wouldn't copy an existing and or the same credentials.

Would me great if have feature like this
Data breach scanner (i know its coming soon)
Weak password checker
Password generator within the app (https://proton.me/pass/password-generator)
An automatic note in email aliases informing which websites have passwords saved with that email alias
A more complete sidebar similar to NordPass -

Too many duplicate entries create a mess when one needs data entry.
