Break Glass
Add a way to support a "Break Glass" username/password login. These would be credentials that are only supposed to be used in the event of an emergency, and would generally have super admin rights on the platform.
Since a majority of businesses are remote, or just have people in different locations, the use of physical mediums to store emergency login information is outdated. We used to store these in a safe in the office that only a handful of people could access, but this doesn't work anymore. Having this built into our password manager would be amazing and is something that I don't think any other managers do.
- Read-only credentials. Editing credentials never sees the original
- Accessing credentials sends an email out to a predefined and unknown (optional) list of people
- Updates/Deleting credentials can be locked to certain people: all IT execs have access, but only 1 or 2 people should be able to update.
- Any changes to credentials also sends out an email to predefined list
- Read-once toggle (optional)
