default 'Hide my email' alias leaks website name to Proton
By default the Pass Extension will prefix the website name in the aliased email address. For example uservoice.pacify917@aleeas.com for this website.
Since Proton / SimpleLogin need to route this alias it will remain readable to those systems - revealing the websites that a user has accounts on (uservoice in the example above).
The prefix is unnecessary since it could be stored in the E2E metadata of the Alias entry or via a linked ProtonPass Login entry instead of in the email address.
The current work around is to create the alias manually and modify the prefix. It would be very…

personal vault
Please let the free plan delete the Personal vault so it can access two shared vaults instead of one (because currently the personal vault is taking up a slot and I can't delete it).

Sort login/items alphabetically case-insensitive in iOS apps
In iOS and iPadOS apps, logins sorted alphabetically show, for example, entries beginning with lower case “a” after all of those beginning with “A”. It would be much more useful to have them mixed together as it does on the web.

Integrate zxcvbn algorithm into Proton Pass
I've noticed that Proton Pass uses a basic password meter to determinate if a password is secure, like the classic "mix lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols" algorithm.
I suggest changing that with the zxcvbn algorithm developed by Dropbox instead (I personally recommend the zxcvbn-ts library). In this way, Proton can really tell if a password is secure enough, instead of relying on the classic and obsolete password strength algorithm.

Request for Randomly Generated Secure Passwords with Custom Format
Hi everyone,
I would like to suggest an enhancement to the current password generation feature in Proton. Currently, the generated passwords are memorable phrases (e.g., "Margarita0-Sedan0-Refurbish6"). While these are easier to remember, they may not be as secure as random passwords.
My request:
Implement an option to generate random passwords similar to those provided by Apple iCloud.
Maintain the format where letters and numbers are separated by hyphens (e.g., "Abc1-Def2-Ghi3").
Why this is important:Randomly generated passwords significantly increase security compared to memorable phrases.
The hyphen-separated format enhances readability and usability without compromising security.
Thank you for considering this enhancement.…2 votes -
Identification
In the identification type, allow to use names as identifier and not force email usage. Lots of website use ID & password where the ID is not always an email but just a name or nickname.

Show TOTP of selected login
When multiple logins (each with their own TOTP) exist for the same site, the Proton Pass extension doesn't always provide the TOTP for the login that was chosen. Instead, it provides a randomly chosen TOTP from any of the available logins for that site.
Please fix this bug so that the TOTP that is provided is for the login that is selected by the user. Thank you.

Make option to remove subject from alias sent emails. Alias email also not sent end to end encrypted
Allow for "No Subject" in the alias emails being sent to the main email address. Removing the subject for all forwarded emails. The Subject line is not encrypted. No sense in giving out metadata that I dont have to. Addy.io does this.
I noticed email sent to my Protonmail account from a generated alias address is not end to end encrypted, only stored at "zero-access encryption". All email sent to an alias address should be encrypted with the Protonmail users public key. Addy.io does this.
After talking to support, this is what I got back: "PGP keys can be added for…

Focus on PIN prompt when opening locked Firefox extension
When I open the Firefox browser extension after it has locked due to inactivity, I am provided the PIN re-entry screen where I can re-enter my PIN. Unlike in Chrome, my cursor is not re-focused to the PIN entry field so I have to click into it before I can type. In Chrome, I can select the Pass extension and immediately begin typing. Would like this for Firefox.

Detect & Save Password Modification
Actually, Proton Pass detect and suggest new password.
But not updating stored password with the new one.Future is to detect password change for an existing registered account compare to URLs and replace old password automatically. Old one is stored in a individual log in each account stored.
Why : Without comparing to actually registered. If newly generated password were not logged in settings of the module, i could spend my time reseting passwords like other whom don't know : i recommanded them Proton Pass and they are happy to create new generated password but old one is still inside…

'Hidden" text field for 'Cards'
Please add an 'Hidden' text field/note for 'Cards' in Proton Pass (same as for 'Logins', at the bottom)
I'd for example want to add a hidden card serial number, not visible as a note, but can't. And doesn't fit in PIN, security code, etc.
