Mobile app: when biometric fails have a fallback other than system unlock.
Enabling "Use system lock when biometric fails" is insecure in the following scenario: someone shoulder-surfs in a crowd to find out your phone's PIN or unlock pattern, then steals your phone. They will then have access to your Proton Pass contents. It would be better to allow app-specific PIN code and Biometric unlocking to be active at the same time, rather than forcing users to choose between them. Users can then disable "Use system lock.." and still have a secure fallback if biometric lets them down.
Alternatively, a master password could be used as a fallback.

Proton Pass Extension Should Inherit settings from global settings - not allow unique settings
The Proton Pass extensions should not have different settings in each browser and each instance of browser as they currently do.
These settings should be inherited from global settings or at least have an option to inherit these settings from global settings and be force logged out when those settings change.
This feels like a security vulnerability and I am unhappy with how this works right now.

Dedicated domains and IPs for Pass
Certain countries (i.e. Russia) restrict access to Proton Mail. Apparently, Pass uses some of the domains or IP ranges they block. And if Mail access can be circumvented with a VPN, being unable to access your passwords is much more serious as you might as well have your VPN credentials saved there. In addition, connecting to VPN is most inconvenient whenever you need to unlock your vault or save a new item. This could be solved by having dedicated IPs and domains for Pass backend, so it does not suffer collateral damage from other blocks.

[Critical] Provide View history (most basic feature) feature for FREE tier
This is the absolute necessary and most basic feature for a password manager to revert back or view your password history. Like Bitwarden does, proton pass "View history" feature should be available for everyone including Free tier users. Stop putting everything behind a pay wall.

Do not expose username when app is locked
On mobile devices, the autofill feature exposes the username of the login item even when the app is locked. So someone with your phone can infer (a) that you have a login for that website and (b) your username. Imho b should be gone asap and ideally a too (replicating the behavior of the browser’s extension)

Import 1PW *.csv (https://1pw.de/)
Importing generic *csv -exported by 1PW- fails to 100%. There are no data in Proton Pass after import, so this import feature is more or less useless to me.

Suppress Autofill and Save Prompts for an App
I need a way to exclude an app from Proton Pass. It continually prompts to save my one time MS Authenticator codes.

Virtual keyboards for 6 digit PIN
The most vulnerable point for Pass at this moment is the 6 digit PIN to unlock. A simple keylogger would give access to all my passwords and many 2FA codes. A virtual keyboard to unlock Pass for all operating systems would significantly reduce the risk of the PIN getting exposed.
What I could also imagine alongside a virtual keyboard:
• Picture Password
• Drawing Schemes "Android-Style"3 votes -
Animation for Autofill
Could we make the animation a bit sleeker when using Proton Pass to autofill?
Currently, as Proton Pass autofills, it prompts Face ID (iOS), and a box that sort of fills the whole screen appears.
Would it be possible to make this animation sleeker? Maybe make the box a bit smaller with rounded corners, or utilise Dynamic Island?
I think it would really improve the UX.

Simple way to "Generate" ad-hoc passwords that are not necessarily linked to an existing or new Vault entry
In the Proton Pass web app, I can select "Advanced | Generated Passwords" which will show a recent history of generated passwords, but there doesn't appear to be an easy way to just generate a password that isn't linked to a vault entry - i.e. a one time, throw-away password

Chronology for each item
Right now there are some big security risks based on how the chronology of passwords works: it shows a big chronology of every password generated; withouth including passwords manually created by the user; withouth specifying the item of the password and deleting each password after 2 weeks.
It should instead behave like Bitwarden: for each item you can see the chronology of passwords, being able to recover an old one you accidentally overwritten (even after years), also including passwords that were manually made instead of generated

Duress pin for opening decoy vault
It would be nice to have the option to set pins for different vaults. With the ability to store decoy credentials for circumstances in which vault access needs to be given under duress (thinking at border checkpoints).
The option to have the duress pin delete other vaults stored on the accessed device would also be useful.

If data leak, option for bulk creation of email alias for affected email address.
If an e-mail address has a data leak, it is displayed where the e-mail was used. It would be useful/time-saving to have a function to generate an alias for all these emails. This way you don't have to perform the step of creating an alias manually for each login, but can adjust the email address directly in the account concerned.
