  1. Proton Pass 2FA Authentication App Integration

    There have been numerous amazing changes and additions to the Proton suite. It has been enjoyable to observe and experience the growth of Proton services alongside the community. Proton Pass is a perfect addition to the suite, providing a reliable option for password management and security. I would love to see the option for two-factor authentication (2FA) integrated within Proton Pass. Using a separate authenticator, such as Microsoft's Authenticator in my case, adds another app and account that "crowds" my phone. I believe that adding this feature would significantly enhance the quality of life!

    Ability to hide/minimise navigation bar on the Proton Pass website, the same way you can do it in Proton Mail.

  3. Add passkey indicator icons on the autofill area

    Hope they add passkey indicator so we wont get confuse which one to select. Because after selecting the passkey for non passkey website the passwords wont show up anymore and had to restart the whole app or browser.

  4. Import History

    Hi,

    I have just imported my passwords from Chrome, but am hesitant to delete them from Chrome as I cannot verify that they have all been imported correctly and completely... (except by searching for each one individually and seeing that it is there, under Today!)

    I would therefore like a way to only view Recently Imported data so that I can quickly cross check them. And maybe also have a History of Imports, showing a summery of each import such as how many passwords/notes etc. and from which service they came, i.e. Chrome, Lastpass, MoxierWallet etc. Clicking on the entry…

  6. Encryption via security key

    So I know you can add a security key to your device but i would love the option to make it mandatory for opening the vault.
    Example: Password safe is able to get you into your vault if a master password and the yubikey is correct. I would lova a feature like this with all the advantages on Proton pass.
    Also a way of implementing this on the browser extension would be nice. Like that you decrypt it once when your machine starts up and it will lock as you shut it off again so when you reboot you will…

    Proton Pass needs "Alternative Routing" option as in ProtonMail
    Reason: To bypass blocking

  8. Manually set 2FA to done on accounts in Proton Pass.

    Proton Pass is telling me to activate 2FA on websites where I already have activated it. Instead of having to go over the process of re-doing it on every website just to have it set in Proton Pass is ridiculous. Make it possible to simply press "I already have 2FA activated on this website."

  9. Add possibility to secure the Proton Pass Web App with a custom password or a Secret Service integration on Linux

    Instead of having to rely on a PIN code or the Proton account password, add the possibility to unlock the Web app with a custom password.

    In addition, on Linux, there could be a Secret Service integration, either requiring to unlock the app with KWallet, Gnome-Keyring, KeePassXC or a similar application. If possible, the Proton Pass app could prompt the user every time to input their password every time.

  11. Download icon from URL

    KeepassX has a really nice feature where you can download and set the icon on the item using the favicon of the URL on the entry. Adding a "download icon" button would allow the icon to be set/updated on existing entries.

  13. Default Password Length Improvements

    It would be a major QoL upgrade if ProtonPass either remembered the length of the password I selected last time, or if I could configure the default password length. It's quite annoying to have to increase my desired password length from 20 characters each time.

  16. Prompt for Proton Password periodically

    In order to help users remember their Proton password (which now opens Proton Pass) you should prompt the user to enter it periodically. This will discourage folks from writing it down or making it too easy/guessable.

    Also, many of your services are now available as always-authenticated desktop apps. This decreases the amount of times you need to enter your Proton Pass.

  17. Computer and Browser Security Issues with Pass Mac/Windows App autofill

    I was concerned about using the browser extension because of the prevalence of browser based credential stealing malware. If a browser got infected with this type of malware there is a chance the Pass browser extension could be accessed by a hacker.

    I asked tech support if this was technically possible and did not get any technical response only a legal response that the security of my computer is my responsibility. This made me think that it probably was possible.

    I requested that there be an actual Mac/Windows application. An application would still be vulnerable to hacking based on security…

  18. Proton Pass: More statistics for a given Alias, amount of logins, emails received etc.

    Proton Pass:
    When searching viewing Aliases in the GUI, there could be more useful statistics in the "More Info" properties of each Alias entry, such as amount of logins that are using that alias and even perhaps amount of emails received onto that alias.

    Additionally both items could be "hyperlinks" to a specific search filter, a copy to clipboard on click, which you could then either paste to Proton Mail search and view those emails, or get search results for all of those logins in the Proton Pass app it self.

  19. Proactive and continuous monitoring of digital identity

    In Proton Pass,thanks to the Sentinel program, complete digital identity tracking with the ability to add ID card, driving license, bank accounts, etc. would be useful. So as to carefully monitor this valuable personal information in real time and against personal data breaches.

  20. Session Overview of all Proton Pass Instances in Pass Security

    Proton Pass Security in it's Global Settings could have some general and session overviews regarding all of the Pass instances and apps, such as the browser extensions.

    Now, there is separation in each Pass app-specific settings by design as confirmed by Proton Staff to be intentional, sure, but we need one place, one app (webapp or the desktop windows app?) that's considered the main or primary one that should have some global overview, security and session management of all the Proton Pass instances to get a sense how many extensions and sessions are active (or used in past)
