IMAP/SMTP + TLS support
Multi support are needed for heavy mail client (Outlook/Thunderbird/Evolution etc...)
Web access only is too limited
The ProtonMail Bridge supports IMAP/SMTP support for desktop clients: https://protonmail.com/blog/thunderbird-outlook-encrypted-email/

The whole security model of Protonmail prevents IMAP support. It's not just that they encrypt server-side; it's that the whole mailbox is one encrypted chunk of data that can only be decrypted on the client side. There is no way for IMAP to deal with this. If you want IMAP support go use normal email. Or Protonmail can add IMAP support by scrapping all their security work and go back to being just another email provider. You can't have both.

This would undermine ProtonMail's entire security model. Ain't gonna happen. Go use GPG with a normal email account if you need IMAP.

Hi, Again I ask you for SMTP features. Is this possible? Mail forwarding option or vacation mail? Reg.

I understand server-side encryption is the key feature of ProtonMail. That wouldn’t change with adding IMAP support, it would just make the life of a lot of people easier, because they can then use their preferred native email client, including Apple Mail on the Mac or Mail on iPhone.
