Open the next email automatically after deleting or moving the first one
When I delete a message I want to go directly to the next email, instead of going to the inbox and then click the next email.
This feature is a simple one, but when you have to read a lot of emails it saves a lot of time.
It is available both in Gmail and Yahoo.
Thank you for your attention.
Work on this feature has started, beginning with iOS availability.

Guys, I love your service. I'm a Visionary, own domain, and all. This single feature - go to the next message after a delete - will drive me away if you do not fix it.

When I delete a message, the next message should automatically be selected so that I can action it without needing to click it and then action it. This is customary on other platforms and should at least be an option for ProtonMail.

I think it would be useful to navigate to the next email when deleting an email in iOS (i.e. rather than automatically going back to the list of emails).
This would allow for a more natural navigation when deleting emails.

Agreed. This would make the experience of using the web app a lot smoother.

However, it should also work, when archiving mails, which I do, opposite of (I assume) others.

I can’t believe that the iOS app was completely redesigned and still doesn’t support this very basic feature that people have been begging for for six years. I think it might be time to re-evaluate how you prioritize feature requests. Because simple and important items like this are being left to rot and it is just weird. Will this ever be implemented, yes or no?

I can't say for positive if it topics to me if the automated function grows to become off and it might not download pics, trackers, and so forth. so that you can flip it on with the aid of default. I even have image loading disabled in all the e-mail clients I use for that reason, however, I don't like e-mail customers that choose the subsequent electronic mail. Try the use of the login right here https://callmechat.com/shagle to go into the best important facts.

When I press the archive button or the shortcut key "a", after the archive completes I want the next email to be automatically selected, so I can quickly archive many emails in a row. Right now its a pain to have to manually refocus/select the next email and archive each time.

I hit "report" by accident.
Had to say it, since "contact us" is nowhere to be seen.
This needs to be added, which is why it has 3 votes from me.

I don't want this because :
- I read some emails later on the day and I don't want to open them yet.
- I read my emails in a different order of priority than the order of receiptI already had this feature on a email client it was always bothering me.
As Desmond said: This should be a customizable option. -

I definitely would like to see this implemented, but also for 'email is moved' as well.

This should be a customizable option. I personally prefer it the way as it is. You should be able to chose if, after deleting an email, you want to go to the Inbox, or the next unread or previous read email.

Other email programs have this feature, I just thought all email accounts would work the same. It's a huge timesaver, please implement it.

Basically, it goes to the draft until you delete it from there, But I suggest you hire a professional writing expert so that this won't happen again. Even I have been using a website for my MBA thesis writing check this out https://essaysadvisor.com/tag/best-mba-essay-writing-services/ It also provides you to choose the best writing services according to your requirements.

Without this feature, no quick triage for me, which is something I have to do on a daily basis. It'd really like to see this implemented (for now it is a burden to have to click every time).

This. Hitting A / T and then [Enter] for next message is kind of okay, but still super annoying. I would like to rip through 100 messages in 2-3 minutes just smacking A / T as I skim.

Please add this ASAP! Here are my answers to the last commenter's questions.
1. Would you want this to only happen in the Inbox folder?
All folders2. When your Inbox has a list of messages with mixed read/unread status, would you expect to be automatically taken to the next message irrespective or read or unread status, or only to the next unread message? Could you share the reason behind your choice?
I would definitely want to go to the next message irrespective of read status. To me it's much more intuitive to have it always go in order rather than skipping around based on read status, and although there are times that I might actually want the opposite behavior, the vast majority of the time, I want to go in order. You also would introduce ambiguity if you consider the read status. What if you start on a read message, would you then go to the next read message or unread in that case? Going to the next unread will cause frustration and confusion.3. Which platform would you like to see this implemented on? Web, mobile? Both?
It's very important to have the option for this on both web and mobile. I don't think people should be forced into this behavior, but it's very important for some people. On web, adding it to the column inbox layout is a no brainer and shouldn't even need an option. For the row layout, some people might like it each way. I really want to be able to archive/delete a bunch of messages in a row after glancing at them. That's significantly faster for me than deleting, looking for the next message I want to open, click on it, glance, and then delete.4. If you'd like to see this on mobile as well, why not use the swipe action to quickly delete or archive emails? Is there something about that action that you find difficult?
Swipe is important and very useful in the conversation list, but like I mentioned above, tapping once in the same place repeatedly lets you go through mail much faster. I don't want to go back to the conversation list after looking at each message. It's faster to glace at a message, tap archive/delete, and then see the next message.Final Comments:
I would give this all 10 of my votes if I could. This is really the most important feature for me because it gives me the largest increase in processing mail quickly.
