Not all of us have perfect eyesight. I have enough trouble reading the labels on prescription medicines without a magnifying glass. Shouldn't have to do that just to read webmail before responding. So settings should include an option to change the font size.

Yes, we should be able to change the default font and size for our new messages, so that we choose our own defaults, as every person is different. My eyes are bad now and I cannot read the tiny font, plus the biggest font is Verdana, and that is what I choose when I message, but it doesn't stay that way when I start a new paragraph. It goes back to the default which is a colossal waste of time. Obviously I'm not the only one who has asked for this. And if possible, could you offer more variety of fonts please? That would be great.

I want more fonts to choose from but even more importantly, I want a way to set my fonts and font sizes to STAY permanently UNTIL I choose to change them. Right now, when I set my font to VERDANA, and when it's time to write another paragraph, everything changes back to Arial with a 14 size font which is SMALL. PLEASE! Even the old system allowed me to set up my messaging the way "I" wanted and didn't change on me. The way it is right now is pathetic---> not what I would expect especially after upgrading to a PAID account with VPN.

Is it possible to let users change the default font size so that we don't have to change the font size every time when we compose a new message please? Currently the default size is 14 and it's too small for me, I can change the default font size for the signature but not the message body font size, please help enable us to change the default font size. Font in incoming mail should be bigger. But even better, it should be ADJUSTABLE and the contrast is poor.

When will you have the option to enlarge the font size for incoming mail? It is WAY too small to read on a cell phone!! It’s not just the ability to have larger font when composing that we need. We need larger default font incoming email. Can we do this? How?

There have been many posts/comments and votes for being able to set a default font and size over the years. This is something that clearly a large part of your users would like to see implemented. Yet, through all the posts I scoured through, not one response from protonmail. This makes me sad.

I love this this program and am a paid user, however, I am tired of hearing my husband yell from the other room about having to redo the text on every email as he can't see the smaller type. This should be standard.

The impression is that insufficient consideration has been given to those of us who may have visual challenges. At age 75 I'm quite presbyopic and have some retinopathy and macular degeneration. I'm not alone. People like me need large, clear fonts, with well defined contrast. The web designers might want to consult with an ophthalmologist as to how to achieve this; or at least how to create freedom for clients (I'm a paid-up user) to make it easier for themselves.

Because I cannot change my font and font size and color what I want to be default, it keeps me from being a paid member. It would be fantastic if it would be changed for everyone, free and paid to be able to choose and set to what we want because after all, that should be a basic feature in all email programs.
