Same, I thought I was not set up right, now see that protonmail account in my outlook is causng problems for me and anyone that sends me an invite for a Teams meet, it does not save the invite in the outlook calendar

Similar as ProtonMail Bridge. Many users want to use native apps in the Apple Ecosystem.

For me this is also crucial to even concider using it. At the moment I store my calendar events in ETE Sync, bt it is super buggy - searching for an alternative I found none so far.

As we have already the bridge installed, making the contacts, calendars and drive functionality accessable for mac, linux and windows desktop applications (aka iCal and contacts app) would be really a big step foreward in replacing the dependency on big tech.

Also for android and ios of course ;).

This would be an excellent feature to have to make ProtonMail and Calendar fully integrated with Thunderbird so it is viable as base email and calendar programme for freelance work.

Any updates on its introduction/offering?

This is a big issue for me too. I need one integrated calendar otherwise life if chaotic. I am prepared to compromise on security of the calendar if that is the issue.

The question is relevant for me too. How to connect my mail (on proton.me) to the mail program Thunderbird?

As I'm using Thunderbird it would be great to have that Bridge functionality, that encrypts those CalDAV WebDav stuff (I'm not a Techi, I do not know what happens exactly).
But it should not be an extra Bridge but the already existing Bridge that can handle this encrypted calendar from Proton.

I am considering moving back to O365 - without the ability to syncronise calendar and contacts across devices it is not functional. People have been saying this for over 2 years now (looking at when this support ticket was opened) it does not look like anyone is listening....

I cannot use Proton Calendar because it won't sync with other calendars, like Outlook or Apple Calendar. It is essential that I can go to a single master calendar where I can find all my appointments. In the absence of this, I have avoided using Proton Calendar. Please add that functionality.

Not sure why the current bridge does not handle the calendar as well, but this is critical. I would use it more often, it's a real PITA to login to my browser, just to check important calendar entries I have here. ":-(

Hello, Just checking on this request. Please provide this feature! I would add more votes to this if I could. I'm not using Bridge because I have to have browser open for email or calendar at the moment.

Outlook Desktop integration is crucial

Please add this, having to open my browser to add things to my calendar when I can already access my email from Outlook Is a pain in the ass and is unproductive.

I guess the name "Proton Mail Bridge" only implies an association to the "Mail" product, but IMO there either should be a lot more explicit clarity that Bridge only functions for email, or some sort of indication if this is in the roadmap.

As it is, I think most folks (like myself) migrating from a provider like Google or MS will assume that with a 'bridge' service, you can work with Proton accounts in Thunderbird, Evolution, etc. in the same way that you can with a Google account.

Cmon Proton Team... It's time. This is a necessary function and has been a request for years.

I second the voice of others: as long as calendar does not show up in Outlook, I cannot use it.

I'd like to be able to see my Proton calendar on Gnome Calendar, which is what my Linux laptop uses by default. Thunderbird could be another great place to see my calendar, but I don't always have that application open.
