Apparently this idea has been waiting developement for over 5 years and has many user votes. If you really listen to us users this would be a top priority!

Come on Proton, let's get this feature added to Calendar.

This has been under review for 3 1/2 years? If you're trying to compete with major American companies (Apple, Microsoft) you need this ASAP.

I strongly recommend adding this feature. If Proton wants to compete in the "mass market," this is an essential feature. Not only in my private life, but also with some of my business contacts, I don't want to miss sending birthday greetings.

I store birthdates of friends and family in a separate calendar in Proton Calendar. At the same time the contacts feature allows to add data about persons like brithdates. This means this data needs to be entered/stored two times.

Intead, it would be great to be able to display birthdates of people stored in Contacts, in Proton Calendar automatically.

Besides of reducing the amount to work to maintain data, it would also make users utilize contacts more.

I fully migrated months ago and didn’t know this feature wasn’t implemented — I missed a couple of important events. -.-

Not that I believe that this will ever be done, but just to repeat what the paying customers of Proton AG are saying since over 5 years: A calendar that shows a contacts birthday would be a good.

And if for some reason a dev actually decides to invest a few days to implement this insane crazy futuristic feature; pls consider allowing to leave the year empty, cuz first idk/idc most of the time, and users don't want to scroll 1000 moths back, as noted my JR Kraus.

It would be really great if you could integrate this feature so that I can remember to send all my contacts a congratulatory email.

Since this and Apple Watch functionality is missing in Proton Calendar, I still use Apple Calendar (just for this though).

I switched from Apple and that’s the most missing feature at the moment because I miss friends birthday now
