I like the ones on google calendar (d = day view, w = week view, m = month view)

Not just in Proton Calendar, but throughout the Proton ecosystem, keyboard shortcuts make the apps faster for those who know them, and accessible to those who rely on the keyboard rather than the mouse (e.g. blind users with a screen reader).

Basic shortcuts (t = today, w = week, m = month, n = next, p = previous) are quite essential to make day to day calendar usage fast, efficient & fun. I'd consider that a "low hanging fruit" for browser calendar app usability.

Yes please!! I need this quite badly - got so used to these over the years that the calendar is very hard to use without the shortcuts. Please prioritize this!
At least for switching views (day, 3 days, week, month) -

I feel like shortcuts for today, week, month are the least what should be offered.

i also missed this feature, so i created a user script that adds the following keyboard shortcuts:
- d / w / m - switches to day / week / month view
- j / k - navigates back / forward
- t - navigates to todayyou can install it here: https://openuserjs.org/scripts/szamanr/Proton_Calendar_keyboard_shortcuts
you will need an extension for installing userscripts, e.g. violentmonkey -

Keyboard navigation is a must for me. Here are in my opinion some of the most useful keybindings that Google Calendar has that are borrowed from Vim, which I would love if Proton Calendar also added:
- `j/k` to go to next/previous week/month/day
- `t` to go to "today"
- `m` to select month view
- `w` for week view
- `d` for day view
- `c` to create a new event.
- `/` to search -

Yes, Google Calendar has the ability to hit 'w', 'm', 'd'. We should replicate that on Proton Calendar. Would make this a lot easer. I currently have 2 browser windows open for Proton Calendar, one for week, one for month, so I can switch back and forth easily.

it's been three (03) years -how we doing? I want to keep my calendar in Proton, but it's painstaking being unable to straightforwardly update the calendar without using the mouse pad.

Would also love a keyboard shortcut to switch between mail and calendar in the desktop app.

Also, when keyboard shortcuts are added please make them as visible as they are on Proton Mail. It is very nice always seeing the shortcuts at a glance.

The quick navigation shortcut are very useful and following Google Calendar's shortcuts would help transition too as well as people using both services (e.g work vs private)

The lack of keyboard shortcuts is very much holding me back from switching to proton calendar. A set of shortcuts similar to those in google calendar would be the dream for me personally.

The app could be so much more efficient to use with more keyboard shortcuts. I would love to see
- Keyboard navigation (up/down/left/right) to change the selected event
- On a selected event, shortcuts for the existing 'Edit event', 'Duplicate event', and 'Delete event' functions
- When a confirmation pop-up occurs, the Enter key should be mapped to whatever answer is highlighted.
Example: When abandoning changes to an event, the confirmation pop-up offers 'Discard' and 'Cancel'. 'Discard' is highlighted, but currently the Enter key maps to 'Cancel'.- Whenever a confirmation dialogue pops up: (1) The focus should go to the default option, (2) it should be possible to change the answer using arrow keys, and (3) it should be possible to use the Enter key to confirm selection.

Please add keyboard shortcuts for Proton Calendar! Google's calendar has keyboard shortcuts for selecting the daily, weekly, and monthly views ('d', 'w', and 'm', respectively) as well as for moving to the next/previous frame of time ('n'/'p'). In addition, it allows the deletion of events using the 'delete' key, the closure of event dialogs using the 'esc' key, and the use of the 'enter' key for selection of various options. All of this would be great to have in Proton Calendar, plus possibly an event creation shortcut and event creation dialog navigation using the 'tab' key.
