Duplicate event
Would be nice to have an option to duplicate an existing event with small changes.
Use case: irregularly recurring events that need to be scheduled one at a time(e.g. barber, massage, dentist visits)
Duplicating an event is possible from the web app. Coming soon to other platforms.

alt-click and drag events to copy/paste would be very useful

when creating multiple similar new events with different starts and ends in the calendar app it would be time saving to be able to copy the first event created and paste it the next day it occurs.
It would also be time saving to be able to hover the mouse over the start or end time of an event and being able to drag the top or bottom of this event to increase its duration automatically.

I agree. It would be useful in cases where events reoccur irregularly, or at different times. I often find myself copying and pasting event names and start/end times.

This is great for shift work or retail workers who's schedules change on a weekly basis. This is a feature I use all the time in Google Calendar: $event > duplicate > change date (all other metadata stays the same)

For occasional, repeated events which are not regular enough to create as recurring events I'd like to be able to "duplicate event" so that I can quickly just change the date of the new event where times, locations and other details stay the same. Particularly until there is a calendar app, this would make the browser experience on a mobile device *much* smoother. This is a feature offered in google calendar.

Completely agree. Sorry for invoking the d***, but Google Calendar has it and it's versatile to just copy a repetitive event tat occurs in a different schedule, instead of creating it several times or modifying actual ones. Hands up.

It would be wonderful if I could Copy or Duplicate a calendar event, then edit the new one. For example, copying yesterday's dentist appointment for when the next one will be.
