Objet : Fonctions de recherche absentes ou introuvables dans Calendar, Drive et Pass sur Android, abonnement Unlimited

Je suis abonnée à Proton Unlimited et j’utilise les applications Proton Calendar, Proton Drive et Proton Pass sur Android.
Je rencontre le même problème dans les 3 applications : je ne trouve aucune fonction de recherche clairement accessible.
1. Proton Calendar Android
Je ne trouve aucune icône de loupe ni aucun champ permettant de rechercher un événement ancien par son titre, son contenu ou sa date.
J’utilise Calendar pour conserver plusieurs années de rendez-vous médicaux et administratifs. Sans recherche, retrouver un événement précis dans plusieurs calendriers devient pratiquement impossible.
2. Proton Drive Android
Je ne trouve aucune loupe ni barre permettant de rechercher un fichier ou un dossier par son nom dans l’application Android.
La recherche semble disponible dans l’application web, mais je ne trouve aucun équivalent dans l’application mobile. Il n’est pas réaliste de parcourir manuellement des centaines de documents et de sous-dossiers sur un téléphone.
3. Proton Pass Android
Je ne trouve pas non plus de recherche clairement accessible permettant de retrouver rapidement un identifiant, une note sécurisée, un alias ou un autre élément enregistré.
Pouvez-vous me confirmer, séparément pour chacune des 3 applications :
si la recherche est actuellement disponible sur Android ;
où elle se trouve exactement dans l’interface ;
si son absence sur mon appareil correspond à un bug ou à une limitation connue ;
s’il existe une différence de fonctionnalités entre les versions Android et web ;
si une correction ou un ajout est prévu ;
quelle solution provisoire vous recommandez.
Je précise que j’ai souscrit un abonnement Proton Unlimited notamment pour centraliser mes données dans l’écosystème Proton. L’absence ou le manque de visibilité d’une fonction aussi élémentaire que la recherche dans plusieurs applications principales nuit fortement à leur utilisation quotidienne.
Merci de ne pas me répondre uniquement d’utiliser la version web. Je souhaite savoir pourquoi ces fonctions ne sont pas accessibles ou visibles dans les applications Android incluses dans mon abonnement payant.

Searching contents is a no-brainer-must-have

I’m surprised that search is still missing in the mobile apps, while it’s already available in the web version. Please add a search function covering all editable fields. It’s crucial for me, as I often need a list of dates for specific appointments. Having to log in to the web interface every time I’m using a mobile device is really inconvenient and time-consuming.

The desktop/web application has robust advanced search options for fields like Sender, Recipient, Date, Labels, and Folders. I would love some ability to do this on the mobile app.

It's absolutely important for me to have a search function in the Android app.

Search is essential when using the iOS calendar. When someone asks when did you last see your PCP? or What date is x event that you mentioned? we should be able to search with key words...

I need to be able to change calendar entries even after sharing with someone, and I absolutely need the calendar search function on IOS

This would allow me to fully transition to the Proton workspace. I am surprised it isn’t already a feature and I would like it to be added as soon as possible.

To allow content search on my iPhone and iPad, every four days I open the Proton Mail Web app in Safari so the search content doesn’t expire (I have a recurring reminder).

This is the best work around I’ve come across, but pretty annoying!

The calendar is not usable without a search. I am flabbergasted that this feature is missing.

This isn’t just a “mobile feature gap.” It’s a broader architectural limitation that impacts every platform.

Currently:

Desktop requires full local mailbox download and indexing for usable search.

New machines can’t search until full sync completes.

Mobile has no equivalent local indexing model.

Large mailboxes (multi-year, multi-GB) make full replication impractical.

This effectively makes search device-dependent and inconsistent. In a multi-device world, requiring every device to locally replicate an entire mailbox doesn’t scale.

I understand end-to-end encryption complicates server-side search. But encrypted search schemes exist with tradeoffs (encrypted inverted indexes, blind indexes, forward-private search, etc.). Even an opt-in encrypted server index or limited metadata index would be materially better than the current model.

Search is foundational. Without reliable cross-device search, Proton feels more like a local archive client than a modern email platform.

For paid users with large archives, this becomes a retention issue — not just a feature request. I'm surprised this has so few votes in comparison to others.

this is a basic feature that is really missing, i just started to use Calendar but it is the first thing i noticed next to missing Task management.

It already works very well in the desktop app, but much needed in mobile apps.

I urgently need that feature. My wife can't stand it anymore without the function and has uninstalled the app. We can no longer have shared calendars... It is a VERY NEEDED feature.

I just switched everything to proton calendar and then realized I couldn't search on my phone app. This is absolutely needed. Otherwise, I be forced to go back to the safari calendar and I don't want to do that. I can't believe that this feature was not included in the phone app.

I had convinced my GF to join me on Proton, and she is now extremely disappointed that she can no longer search for calendar events on her iPhone. She used this feature quite often with Google.
