Setting event time with keyboard
I'm trying to use the keyboard more and the mouse less. When I create a new event that is not an all-day event l always stumble when setting the time. Let's say I want the start time to be 08:00. I start typing "08". The time picker pops up, and the time "08:00" is highlighted. So far so good. But now I expect to be able to select the highlighted time by tapping the enter key, the space key or the tab key. None of them work. I either have to click in the time picker with the mouse or enter the full time "08:00" followed by the enter key. Also, I wish that I could set the time to "08:15" by typing "0815" plus the enter/space/tab key, i.e without the colon character.

Yeah, I don't understand the utility of the colon. There's no colon on the num pad. I'm so used to just typing times with the num pad. It's so annoying. You think this would be an easy change.

Hi, I created something similiar, may be you would like to add vote there? I believe the description is much better there - no offense.

Came here to say that the need for a colon when entering a time continues to be a hinderance, in all times, but especially 24 hour time

Why can we still not enter the time by simply writing it in 24h format without a colon? eg 1510
The calendar has so many oversights when compared to a polished product like google calendar, its quite frustrating. -

Drop the Colon Requirement. It's very annoying.

Simply dropping the syntax requirement for a colon symbol when entering a time is my most wanted change.

I would love to be able to enter the time like "0815" with the keyboard too!

Time entry really should be easier, drop down menus are a pain for this

Yes! Came here to say this. It frustrates me multiple times a day that I can't just type, e.g., '23', see '23:00' highlighted in the dropdown, and press tab to have that option actually selected.
