Come on Proton, this would be so easy to implement, why is it not there already? Please add it. Lots of us in New Zealand will want this, and as the other comments show, this is kind of a showstopper for some people.

This would be a small but fantastic addition. I here there is a small security risk in subscribing to public ICS calendars so would be great if the Proton team could add this. There is a public ICS on git hub which maybe a good start.

Yea trying to convert family to users they already want to leave because Aotearoa New Zealand holday calendar isnt available in this list.

If New Zealand public holidays don't show up in my Proton calendar, I'll have to stop using it. Australia is represented, along with some very tiny countries, and New Zealand needs to be there, too.

In the meantime you can add a NZ holidays calendar like this:
1. Click + to add a calendar
2. Click 'Add Calendar from URL'
3a. Choose one the the links from officeholidays.com:

3b.
Calendar with 'New Zealand' in holiday name titles:
https://www.officeholidays.com/ics-all/new-zealandCalendar without 'New Zealand', just the name of the holiday as titles:
https://www.officeholidays.com/ics-clean/new-zealandCalendar with all holiday types (both public holidays e.g. ANZAC Day and not e.g. Mothers Day):
