First off love what you guys are doing and I've been a full-paying and subscribing member for over 5 years now ........But PLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSEEEEE add the monthly widget.....The calendar app is useless without it and people won't move over full time....I asked a few years ago but was told it wasn't on the roadmap...Any chance now? Begrudgingly still using Google because this feature doesn't exist...

Yes please! I feel this is a standard necessity for a mobile device. I need a widget that I can at a glance see the month and then access the day I need directly

My wife and I got new smartphones today. I definitely wanted to replace Gmail with Proton as our calendar, but the lack of a monthly widget unfortunately makes my efforts to convince her unsuccessful.

I still use the native iOS widgets to show a monthly calendar next to daily events. If Proton implemented a widget with monthly view next to events, I would finally be able to fully commit to only using Proton Calendar.

Proton Calendar works perfectly fine, except not having this feature makes it basically useless compared to Google calendar. This issue has been open for almost a year, and it would be great to see it added sooner rather than later.

As some have said, the monthly widget is basically what I want my calendar app to do. having it be an extra click rather than just viewing it from my home screen removes a lot of the utility to me and kind of forces me to continue using my google calender (which I'd rather not)

I was shocked the widget was launched without this option. This is the basic view for all calendar widgets on android and iPhone.

Yes, there needs to be more customizable options for widget display, for both Android & Mac!

Agenda style is only useful if I'm using Proton Calendar for work, which I am not.

The events on my calendar are not meetings, but birthdays, appointments, events with friends, etc.

I use my calendar for planning, not organizing my day. Monthly view lets me see what is coming up and quickly/easily determine if I can agree to dinner next Saturday or not.

For me, the agenda view is functionally useless. That the widget only allows a single option suggests that Proton Mail and Proton Calendar are intended for and prioritize a single type of user.

A monthly overview would be much more useful, when will it arrive?

This is a critical feature. Being able to configure the widget display view for your own use case is an absolute must with a calendar. Currently, I have to click into the calendar app every time I use it. Only being able to see, at a glance, what is coming up today is not useful for me in managing my life.

I just spent several hours transferring all my events for the year into proton calendar because I'm tired of fighting with protonmail exporting events incorrectly (or not at all) to my regular calendar app. I finally get everything loaded and remember to pull up the widget on my phone and realize there's only a day/3-day view. That simply doesn't work for me and I'm now left having to do everything again with a new app. It's really disappointing that something this basic isn't already available.

this is the main thing stopping me from using proton over samsung or googles calendar, useless to me without it

I suggest adding a monthly view for widget for Android that displays the full month view of the calendar. This would allow users to quickly glance at their schedule and dates without needing to open the app.
