Widget Monthly View
Currently an added benefit on that I see to the Google Calendar widget and Samsung Calendar, compared to the Proton Calendar, is an array of widget display options.
Currently, Proton Calendar only allows for an agenda-style view, which just lists in sequence what is going on. But it would be helpful to see your month at a glance without actually having to click into the app. Or, like the Samsung App, it gives you a month view and an agenda view side by side.
Giving users the ability to pick a style fits their use case will improve the number of users leveraging the widget, instead of only having a single option (take it or leave it) style.

It's kind of incredible that this still doesn't have a month view widget, every other calendar app had this from the jump.

Please, this. We even had an argument with my wife because we thought our agendas were synchronized but because of the widget missing, she still used our gmail calendar instead of the proton one. You don't want to be causing couple therapy do you ?? Just kidding but it's really something that the community has been waiting for a long time.

I don't use the widget because of that. To be honest, I’m still using Google Calendar at the moment, as I need a widget that shows the month.

Please, please add this. I have done so much twatting about with my phone and computer to get google out of my life, don't make this fairly trivial thing the issue that stops me switching fully.

I swear, I hardly know anyone who uses agenda mode. The Monthly view is the way to go.
And to be more specific, I'd suggest the Monthly view on the Any.do app widget - by far the best on the market.This is the only thing holding me back from switching 100% to Proton Calendar.

You could chart my current use time of google calendar as 70% staring at the monthly view widget, 15% web, 15% creating and sharing events with others.

I also created an account just to see if there is the monthly widget. Not going to use this as it doesn't exist.
