Improve Self-Destruct
Self-Destruct function is a great feature but is some space for improvements.
Self destruct in 7 days (please allow us to change this default value according to preference (for example "Self destruct in 27 days", etc...). in other words, allow us to set a value for the default destruction period.
Option to set a Global Self-Destruction for all incoming mails.
Option to set Self-Destruction for particular folders which to overwrite the Global Self-Destruction setting.
In contacts application add a field where we can set a Self-Destruct period for all mails received from that contact email address/addresses which to overwrite all Global and folder Self-destruct settings.
Also in contacts application add a field where we can set an Expiration period for all mails sent to that contact email address/addresses.

After my move from Gmail with almost 10,000 emails, it is impossible to edit every email individually. It would be good if one could edit marked emails or all emails in a folder at once. I also think a more flexible time setting of more than 2 years would be useful.

The self-destruct function is extremely useful as many users have junk which can go for example at the closing of a project. Now this self-destruct time can only be assigned to each mail individually. Being able to mark a multitude of mails and then determine a date for self-destruction, will provide increased effectiveness.

Numbers 2-4 can be implemented with Sieve filters, even though setting it directly on the contact would be a neat feature. That way everything related to the contact is in one place.

Yes, point 1 of the comment above: would so be great!!! If I want to delete an Email within 1/2/.../7/30 days I just put it in the bin (30 days). For me, being able to change/adjust the default value from 7 to a different number of days e.g. 6mt, 1y, 2y would be so practical. Alternatively, when one chooses "self destruct on..." to have some preset keys for 6M, 12M, 24M or the option to ad such presets there would also work for me. Currently setting self-destruct as it is, is a great feature, just a bit tedious. Point 2-5: not critical for me, personally.

That is exactly what I need. A nice way to implement this feature is to simply have the option self-destruct in... available in the filters settings.
There are a lot of subscription emails that are obsolete after a week so there is no point to store them, not even in a separate folder.
