Add multiple ways to sort emails.
I originally wanted to ask that we be able to sort our Inbox by tag/label. I did see that idea, but also saw requests to sort by star/no star and sender. So I wanted to combine these into a single improvement - to be able to sort the inbox by any column. Being able to do this, helps improve productivity. I would like to be able to see the emails I consider most important to follow up at the top, for example. It can also be valuable to see all the emails from a particular sender or under a specific label grouped together.

Agreed. Simply adding Column Headers would get us halfway there. With headers you can then give the user the ability to sort ascending or descending, and also allow the user to resize each column as we see fit. Plus, my guess is that adding the ability for users to hide and show certain columns might not be too difficult to implement as well.
But sorting is the biggie here, either by From, Subject, Attachment Size, etc.

Also be able to sort a email conversation. Having the most recent email on TOP would be amazing (as in Mac Mail).

I whole heartly agree. Being able to sort emails by sender or by the proton email that I have my aleese attached would be a time saver and make it simpler to clean up my inbox. That is one of the only things outlook got right.
