Copy an event from another calendar (shared) to my calendar. Button next to the existing one: edit, duplicate, close. Thank you.

Yes! This is what I was looking for, however, I would additionally clarify that while I wish to *edit* the duplicate, I want to be clear that I DO NOT want the original to be edited in any way. OR -- Make it possible for a user to edit entries from a shared calendar but only on the Proton calendar view, not making any change to the original event on the original calendar from which it was synced.
