Support more than 4 Security Keys
Proton supports only 4 hardware security keys - this is not enough. Especially since using biometrics counts against the 4 key limit. I have three desktop computers which run my Proton accounts, and I have mobile devices which require 1 key. So I can't use the biometrics option without forcing a game of musical chairs with my security keys. I'm forced to continue using and subscribing to my 1Password account rather than Proton Pass until this limit is increased.

I have 9 active passkeys. This 4 key limit is ridiculous.

Same request. Proton Unlimited account. 3 pcs + 2 portables + backup Yubikey = 6 accounts. I use the proton authenticator but yubikey authentication would be more secure and convenient.

The 4 security key limit makes using a security key basically unusable for me considering backups, passkeys, etc.

Please remove the 4 security key limit. Although I could live with having this limit for Proton Mail and Drive by using 2FA codes instead, BUT I can't migrate my 1Password to ProtonPass knowing that I will have lower redundancy with my security keys.

100% agree. I use a grouped model with my spouse where we each carry a key on our key rings that is backup to each others account while being primary for our own. That’s 2. Then we have a single backup in a safe. But then I’ve also started carrying a token2 card in my wallet which has maxed out my allotment. However, I have found the need to have an additional USB-C key in my work bag but can’t since I’m limited to 4.

Call me paranoid, but I have 6 security keys that I use. I actually ended up with these because some of my devices are USB-A, some USB-C, and some Apple lightning. And over the years I have 6. Proton currently limits you to 4. This is not an urgent matter at all. Just a curiosity as to why the limit is 4?

This is crazy. I have three Yubikeys alone. I had to delete one of my passkeys to make room.
Edit: I'm now up to five Yubikeys. Don't judge.
