Disable pop-up tips/hints
When I'm doing bulk updates in the web app such as selecting multiple emails to mark as read and delete, the pop-up hint always blocks the button to mark emails as read. I have to wait for it to fade or quickly click somewhere else. I'd like to have the option to disable these pop-ups.

These "user hints" are extremely annoying, unwarranted and they cannot be disabled? Look, I use Proton Mail for work; I'm not interested in some nerds pushing "hey, we've just done that" on me. You can inform about new features in a dedicated email rather than spamming us. It's distracting, repetitive... and most of the features completely useless for me on top.
So, I'm sending emails and am informed for the zillionst time that "hey, you can schedule sending...". I don't care, I don't need this, especially I don't want to be distracted. It's my programme, I pay for it, you have no right to push advertising of 'hints' on us. Thanky you. I hope you can take a hint. -

Tool tips are very intrusive on the UI. They prevent users from accessing functions. One option would be to make them appear after a short time. When the mouse just barely touches a function it instantly pops up and blocks larges swathes of the UI. If the tip appeared after prolonged hover it would be much better. Or the ability to disable. Thanks!

Čao ljudje! Ko sem občudoval razgled s kranjskih gora, mi je brat pokazal svojo zadnjo zmago. Bil sem v precejšnjem minusu in sem hotel odnehati, vendar me je https://vegas-hero.si/ pritegnil s svojo hitrostjo. Preizkusil sem poker in nato zavrtel kolute na avtomatih. Sreča se je končno nasmehnila in sem dobil več, kot sem izgubil v celem letu. Sem zelo zadovoljen s tem preobratom in vesel, da sem vztrajal do konca.

Absolutely. It would be such an easy option! The tooltips on everything are so annoying, especially when they get in the way. I star a lot of my messages and I tend to go from older to newer messages, so bottom to top. You can never immediately click the star on the message above, because the tooltip is in the way.

This is the most annoying behavior of the email client. I have to pause and wait for the pop ups to disappear before continuing my work.
It's like Protonmail is punishing you for trying to do too many things at once.
I've been thinking of switching back to Thunderbird because of this behavior, which apparently cannot be disabled.
