This is also critically important to me! I’m an event technician and work at many different locations. When I enter a job in my calendar, it’s very important to me to be able to enter the address right next to the location, get suggestions, and then open a map. That would save me so much work—I wouldn’t have to scroll through hundreds of emails in Outlook, copy the location, and paste it into Google Maps. Please, please implement this! I’d suggest Organic Maps as an alternative to Google Maps!

The autocomplete idea would make adding locations much easier too.
Being able to tap the location and open it directly in Magic Earth or another map app would save a lot of extra steps.

Absolutely critical or else the calendar is not very functional and you end up using another calendar app. A text field for location is just not helpful because you are not able to find the appropriate location when creating your appointment without first accessing some other maps app to pull the exact address and then come back to paste it in the text field. You are also not able to navigate to that location when the time comes without manual steps.

In addition to using the map, just entering a business name or starting an address should autocomplete like the iOS mail app does.

Could use the geo Uri sceme
On android it works with at least google maps and most open streetmap based apps.
