Add feature to view .eml attachments
A very common practice in business settings is to reference related email conversations by attaching them to the current conversation in the form of an .eml file.
Currently, Proton Mail does not support viewing .eml attachments, neither in the web app nor in the desktop client. It is possible to get around this limitation by using a third-party email client and accessing Proton Mail through Bridge.
Just as with .pdf and other formats, being able to view attachments in the .eml format directly in Proton Mail would be a big quality of life change for those of us who regularly use this format.

I also really need this. I am subscribed to the DNS Operations Mailing list and most of the emails are attached as an eml file and to read them I have to download the file and open it in a text editor.
At the very least, treat it like a text file. It might be a good idea to add the option to try to open unknown file types as a text file.

This is critical. I receive many mailing list emails that are essentially forwardings of other emails. Those emails are attached as an .eml file. Back under Gmail, the HTML of those mails would be displayed directly within the text body of the mail I've received (I'm not saying I regret leaving Gmail, of course).

I also really need this viewer. Meanwhile, I installed the app "Letter Opener" to view .eml files from Proton mail on Android.
