I wish we have an option to put a profile picture into our proton mail. It will help out recipients to know that the email is coming form the correct person.

If privacy remains a concern regarding profile pictures, perhaps a pop-up could display before a user uploads their picture telling them not to use a photo of their face in order to retain their privacy. For example, a company logo or scenic landscape photo could be used. Adding profile photos would make Proton users appear more professional and improve the reputation of Proton services. Lacking a profile picture gives the impression to users of other email providers that we haven't put in the effort to finish setting up our email accounts.

Having a profile picture for each individual identity/address would be a really nice addition, and seems like it'd be simple enough to finish implementing.

Profile pictures are more than just a chat application feature. It can be used to brand your addresses for business/work reasons. It's even useful for just personal use. Similar reason why videos have thumbnails, phone/pc apps have icons, and just about every other email service has it: profile pictures help make you stand out. When I glance at my inbox, it takes me no time at all to identify the different services, all thanks to the profile pictures.

People screaming that it's an invasion of privacy are ridiculous. It's an opt-in feature that only people you're in contact with will see. If you're also already given the ability to share ANY FILE YOU WANT using Proton Drive, then what's stopping them from allowing me to use & share a basic 32x32 image?

I see no reason at all not to include it and it's just a little baffling it still isn't.

It would be really nice to have a profile image for my new Proton account.

It would be nice to have this option.. it can create a more personal feel /vibe.

I originally came up with my idea for my email address so that I could put a really cute picture for my profile, so it was disappointing to find that I could not have that picture as my profile

Bruh I signed up for the da*n proton plus email for my custom domain and wtf it won't let me have my pictures? Ridiculous??? Why is it lacking this kinda feature ???? Ima switch to another provider wtf>?>>

As someone who uses proton professionally for their business. It would be nice to be able to send a picture with my company logo in my profile picture that recipients could see instead of just an R in a circle.

2024 and sadly still no option to upload a profile picture.

Having the possibility to set your logo instead of the initials would be a very important feature if you're using Protonmail, for example, for your company.

Could it be possible to add a picture to the mail profile ?
It will be great to have the picture of the person sending email instead of a letter.

This would be a great addition to Proton Mail. I just joined, and I spent a long time unsuccessfully searching to add a profile photo. Please add this capability. I can add photos for my Proton contacts, but not for myself. Why? This should have been done from the outset. I have profile photos for all of my other email accounts.

It would be awesome if proton mail user can change they're email profile picture , I would personally enjoy the feature if it's added to proton mail.

It would be very helpful for us to to have the option to have a profile picture for our business accounts. It would help recipients of our mails as identifier. Please consider to establish this as an option.

Make it like Skiff. They did a great job of this. They also pull in logos for all the emails received. It makes a bit difference in user experience.

As a pro user of Protonmail I am very pleased with all of the features we enjoy on this platform. But it would be very nice to be able to use a photo of ourselves or a logo that will show in the inbox to differentiate us from other mailers.

Please make this happen.

Por favor 🙏🏻 le suplico PODER TENER "FOTO DE PERFIL" en proton Mail

Seria bueno que existiera la opción de colocar una imagen de perfil

It would be great if we could add a profile picture to the account, as I tried doing that but couldn't find the option to add an image.
