Proton Calendar - give the capability for archiving a calendar - perhaps on a yearly basis

I have old calendars related to previous events and relationships. I'd like to be able to archive them, so they don't clutter up my sidebar or options when making a new event, without deleting all the events that were on that calendar

As I understand it, my android calendar automatically deletes events older than 90 days, and then syncs this. I would like to retain my calendar archive - for posterity!
