First of all, I am very satisfied with Proton and the security it provides. However, I have some suggestions regarding the user experience (UX) that would make the daily workflow much more efficient on both desktop and mobile.

1. Desktop App: Continuous Email Navigation

Currently, the ability to navigate between emails (Next/Previous) is limited to the messages visible in the current view (e.g., 50 emails). Once you reach the end of the page, you are forced to exit the email, go back to the inbox, manually switch to the next page, and then reopen a new email.

Suggested Improvement: Implement seamless navigation that allows users to browse through the entire inbox across page boundaries without having to return to the list view.

1. Mobile App: Swipe to Navigate

The mobile experience currently feels a bit outdated compared to competitors like Gmail and Outlook. In the Proton app, you have to open and close every single email individually. In other modern email clients, you can simply swipe left or right to move to the next or previous message.

Suggested Improvement: Add the option to "Swipe to Next/Previous Email" functionality within the email view. This is essential for quickly triaging and reading through a new inbox on the go.

By aligning these features with industry standards, Proton would significantly improve its usability and efficiency. These small changes would make a big difference for power users who handle large volumes of email every day.
