add signature picker in the email composer
It would be really helpful to have a signature selector directly in the email composer.
I frequently need to insert my signature manually — especially when replying to emails or using accounts that don't have a default signature set. I also often want to switch between different signatures depending on the context (for example, using a project-specific signature instead of my standard one).
Adding a button in the composer that lets me choose from a list of saved signatures would solve this friction completely. This is a very common and well-established feature in most modern email services (Gmail, Outlook, Fastmail, etc.).
It should be a fairly straightforward addition, but it would significantly improve the daily email experience.

I agree. This was a feature I've used a lot on GMail. Reason is a mix of personnal and political activities. I sign differently depending on to whom I'm adressing my emails. Today I have to manually erase half of a grouped signature I've made.

Yes, I agree, also a option to add or leave blank the signature at the end of your mail. (I am talking about the web based proton mail)

I would second that! I would like to have my signature when I compose a new email or at the end of my first reply. It's very frustrating I can't choose where to insert it and where not, especially given that I reply from my phone and have a very long signature.
