I'm creating a new email message in the Proton Mail app for iOS (iphone 16+).
I start typing in the To: field ... the contacts I see there bear little to no relationship to the letters I've typed until about the third character.

If the contacts I see were influenced by the recent messages I've sent, or to the spelling of email addresses, the choices would be more useful than whatever approach is currently used.
