I am using Excel 365 and need to unlock a VBA project to view and edit the VBA code. When I open the VBA Editor by pressing Alt + F11 and select my project, it asks for a password.
I know that VBA project passwords help protect code from unauthorized access, but I have forgotten the password for one of my own Excel files.
Is there any reliable way to unlock a VBA project in Excel 365 and regain access to the code? I would prefer a simple method that does not affect the workbook data or macros.
I have also come across VBA password recovery tools, such as SysTools VBA Password Remover. Has anyone tried this tool or another reliable solution?
Please share your experience and suggestions.
